Hello, all! I'm new to the site and have a few questions for my fellow gals suffering with endo and PCOS. On October 22, I had a endoscopy, D&C and IUD placement surgery. Everything is healing good, but I've never had a surgery like this and don't know what's "normal" while I heal. First off, I have

Endoscopy - due to conversion issues
Recently saw an endocrinologist who ran the following tests. He has referred me for an endoscopy before putting my symptoms down to anxiety or depression. I am at 98.2% through range on T4 (100mcg levothtroxene) and 35.1% through range of Free T3. I haven’t a clue what else has been tested for - so have

Bleeding in small bowel
I spoke to the specialist nurse who gave me the capsule endoscopy today. She said that I have a lot of adhesions and some bleeding in my small bowel. She was going to go through the images with my gastroenterologist today and discuss her findings. I assume this bleeding is the cause of my anaemia. I

Capsule endoscopy patency test
My consultant has referred me for a capsule endoscopy but because there are adhesions and a resolving blockage in the bowel I have to swallow a patency capsule in case it gets stuck in the bowel. I was booked in for the 31st Oct for a pre op. I rang the endoscopy suite to ask what it involved and she

IBS: Starting a journey to win back my life.
I've had IBS since I was 16 and since then my symptoms have varied so much. I started off with crippling stomach pains which prevented me from standing up or walking or even lying in bed in particular positions. I also suffered from extreme bloating and constipation. Now for the last year my symptoms
