Letter from Hep Consultant PBC
Hi received my letter from the consultant - Primary Biliary Cirrosis! instead of Primary Biliary Cholangitis. I was horrified to find the name changed in 2016 and not sure I have much faith in his approach. At no point does it mention Cholangitis, I have a Fib4 score of 5.34 no idea what that means.

Tests tests tests!
After ending up in a&e with chest pains in April I've certainly had a full service and MOT from the brilliant NHS. Feeling really positive so far - heart ct scan didn't find anything wrong with my heart but picked up something in my oesophagus which meant I had an endoscopy. That picked up a tiny hiatus

Gastritis improvement with injections
I am curious if those with gastritis have found it improved after injections. I had an endoscopy last year, after monthly injections were started, which showed moderate gastritis. This year, the endoscopy showed marked improvement, along with better bowel movements and less intestinal cramping. The

My wife has been discharged from hospital
I must firstly say a big thank you to all that have replied to my last posts. My meeting with the consultants was unimpressive as they were basically trying to cover their arses. The gastroenterologist didn't really remember my wife's history of numerous bleeds, blamed the on duty surgeon for not doing

Baseline scan done - Onto stims!!
Hi Everyone, So, after my panic before the baseline scan it was all over nothing. I wasn't weighed, and even if they had, my BMI was still 30 and my scan went amazingly. The nurse said that my endometrium looked nice and thin and that I was responding very well to the Buserelin. She said she can already

Last year I had 100% obstruction of the lateral anterior descending coronary artery. Nurses pointed out it's known as the widow maker. Treatment was endoscopy to flush the obstruction then placing a stent to keep the vessel open. What led to this was my barfing during the midday run. I'd barf

PA & UC ?
I have thought for the last 10 years I had PA ( B12 score was 68) but now I am not sure as I have just been diagnosed with UC ( Ulcerative colitis). I had the endoscopy & colonoscopy via my works insurance as my Dr wouldn't refer me. Apparently the specialist tested me for IF but I cant seem to get hold
