Baseline scan done - Onto stims!!

Hi Everyone,

So, after my panic before the baseline scan it was all over nothing. I wasn't weighed, and even if they had, my BMI was still 30 and my scan went amazingly. The nurse said that my endometrium looked nice and thin and that I was responding very well to the Buserelin.

She said she can already see some follicles ready to go but otherwise, my body is doing exactly as it should.

We have opted to go with an endoscope procedure which cost £390 and for those that haven't heard of it, it is basically closer monitoring of the eggs once fertilised. Photographs are taken of the eggs in quick succession and it apparently increases IVF success by more than 9%.

I collected my menopur to start tonight, back in for a scan on Tuesday and Friday next week and she says possible egg collection on WC 05.07.2021 which is very exciting.
