I did it to myself
We have people posting who have serious issues, and I feel for every one of them. However, please send some good thoughts to me ASAP for being so stupid. I have gastroparesis and gallstones. I also managed to eat a can of fried Spam and 4 grilled cheese sandwiches over the last several days. I don't

Anti Phospholipid Syndrome and Thyroid
Hey all, does anyone else have APS or a knowledge of how it can interact with Thyroid issues? I understand they are both autoimmune conditions.I was diagnosed in 2016 due to miscarriages (no clotting episodes, fingers crossed). I had heparin injections whilst pregnant but told I wouldn't need anything

Spironolactone
I'm aged 63 years. I am currently taking Bisoprolol, Amlodipine, Ramipril, Warfarin, Aspirin, Atorvastatin, Omeprazole and Spronolactone. I have been on the same medication for around 10 years, having had an Aortic Valve replacement 12 years ago. Until recently, there have been no problems with the medication

She says I have angina and to carry on with bisoprol and aspirin and to carry a gtn spray with me. My anxiety

Looking for advice, experiences of, knowledge about Chronic Rheumatic Myopericarditis because Cardiac Consultant and GP are saying nothing .
Hi, this is my first post. To put my post in context, as briefly as I can. My partner had Myocarditis 8 yrs ago, he slowly recovered but appears to have some ongoing heart 'issues'. One instance of unstable angina 18 months ago which took him to A&E, where an angiogram showed some narrowing of 3 vessels

Got another stent in 15 months - why and what should I do next. Anxious?
Hi, I am 61 year old living in San Francisco Bay Area and in Jan 2023, I got 4 stents (2 in LAD, 1 each in LCx and RCA). Had 50-60% blockage in distal RCA and D2 of LAD. Before the stents: LDL-C was in 70s, ApoB and LP(a) were never measured. A1C was 5.6, Blood pressure 130/80. Active - Biking 3

Sugar and alcohol…?
Just wondering if it’s best to cut them from the diet or does it really matter? Do they make any difference to people with MPN’s. We are overseas and I am only on aspirin. when we return the haematologist will begin me on Pegasus. I asked a friend who is a doc here if he would give me a pathology script
