Heart or non acid reflux?
I would be grateful to know whether anyone has had this experience and what they have done. I have had bad sleep patterns for years which I’ve put down to anxiety. I have no trouble getting to sleep but wake early.Over the last year have had medical issues (prolapse, eye surgery) that have added to

horrendous muscle aches on Ramipril and Bisoprolol
hi was wondering if you could help me. I was referred to the rapid chest pain clinic as I had an episode witch I thought was just a bad case of acid reflux, a little chest pain but went quickly and a pain in my arm. I had my appointment a couple of weeks ago and my ecg was abnormal. The consultant said

Has anyone experienced heart arrythmia whilst taking zoladex. This is my husbands second time taking adt in 5 years since a ct scan shows 2 pelvic lymph nodes. we cannot recall this side effect first time around, although it is classed as a side effect. He is having a Holter monitor on for 24hrs next

Wolff Parkinson White
Can anyone give any advice on Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome? Does the syndrome usually exist on its own without other heart problems, or does it exist in conjunction with other congenital heart defects? I’ve recently had an ECG that displayed a WPW pattern. What treatments have people had?

Newbie: is it normal to feel like you're going bonkers whilst awaiting a diagnosis?
I spent yesterday morning at A and E awaiting a troponin blood test to see if I'd had a heart attack in the early hours of Sunday morning. I hadn't thank goodness. Flash back to March/April this year when I first went to the GP for a weird feeling in my chest. Bloods showed Vb12 deficiency and my

Sorry but need to vent - over the past 6 years I've been up cardiology - and since then I've been diagnosed with PSVT -1st Degree AV block- Dialated left atrium- grade 2/6 mid systolic murmur and I've had a few other bumps along the way too. I genuinely feel the skipping of my heart rate and he also

need some reassurance please
Hi, this is my first post. I just need a bit of reassurance. My husband had a quadruple bypass in July this year after 3 months of waiting in hospital. He’s 52 and had been having chest pains for a few months before being admitted because of his ecg results. After the bypass he recovered really well

Don't blame it all on the prednisone! Check things out.👩🏻⚕️ or 👨🏻⚕️
I'm writing to add a soft warning to be mindful. I was diagnosed with GCA in 2019 and finally got down to single digits this summer, I'm taking 5 mg per day plus Actemra. I'm only dropping .5 mg every six weeks. It has been fairly smooth except the fatigue, I did nothing and was [i]so, so tired![/

Calcium needed or not…?
This is an open-end question, for which there might not be an answer. After diagnosis of PMR my Rheumy prescribed a DEXA scan. Showed mild Osteopenia. Was told to take 1,000 mg / day to help prevent degrading into Osteoporosis as taking Prednisone can progress that disease. So, started reading scientific

FND seizures
Hi, my daughter started to have seizures in September out of the blue, she’s 14 soon to be 15. She went to a&e who said bloods and ecg heart trace was all good and sent us in our way - being discharged during a seizure was the biggest let down yet! We were scared and unsupported. We had a neurologist
