Arrythmia many weeks of worry.
In early november 2022 I had an ecg which diagnosed arrythmia, a GP put me on Apixaban, and arranged an echocardiogram in mid December. On 5th February having heard nothing I contacted GP who said results may have been lost, so I contacted the hospital and was told that my test was still on the cardio

Tricky question... painful topic
Hi all, I've been with my current partner for 7 years, married for almost 2. We've been struggling to conceive for 6 of those years after a failed vasectomy reversal. Due to our history from when my SO used to be an alcoholic (he used to be VERY abusive and still has the odd rare mild episode) we are

First visit to cardiologist for dizziness due to CKD stage 3b no proteinuria
My 77 year old husband in stage 3 b, no proteinuria has had dizzy spells and some nausea again 3 months after the first one. Both lasted about a minute. This time I took him to the PCP. EKG was performed and showed T wave inversion. Blood pressure was 105/62. She has asked him to stop Linosopril which

so after everything with my uncle, I’ve got my own ecg this week, as been getting flutters and pain in left side of chest. Already suffer from high blood pressure, only 32 so praying it’s clear and just panic. But also my family history both sides, with what uncle has gone through has scared me. Currently

Been told I have SVT
yesterday my heart started to race, I phoned 111 and explained to them that my heart had been racing for about an hour and I was getting tingling in my legs. I was told to go to A and E, I asked if I would be ok going in the car with my husband as last time this happened I was told to wait for an ambulance

An Important thing to know if considering Estrogen Therapy.
My experience using estrogen as my only form of ADT has been positive. However, when my psa started rising and I began to feel pain in my spine and pelvis my MO put me on Zometa (bone drug IV every 3 mo). Was it necessary? I have no idea. I now get mildly sick for about 36 hours after the infusion

"Probable Myocardial infarction of indeterminate age".
I've had afib for about a year and a half and it's reasonably well controlled, it seems, by bisoprolol and aPixaban. Consultant advised to leave it alone and will probably need a pacemaker in the future. He did an ECG on me yesterday and the words at the top of the print out were what I have shown at

New GP: here we go again: I refuse to feel frustrated
As per what I wrote a couple of days ago and the thyroid test results, she phoned me today to tell me that I am 'hyper' because the TSH is 0,01. Meantime any dummy can see that an fT4 of 13 (range 9 to 19) and fT3 of 4.7 (range 2.6 to 5.8) is in no way hyper! She admits to this being out of

Black and blue from electronic event recorder.
Since my ablation at Cleveland Clinic in early December, I'm to use a Model 1000 Cardiac Event Recorder that takes an electrocardiogram that I phone in to my EP once a week (or in the case of an event). I simply place it against my bare chest and press "event." Last time, the arrythmia nurse told me

Heart trouble, 32 years old.
Hi Folks, I'm 32 years old and have been going through an incredibly difficult time the last few months. It all started in September, wakening panicked, heart racing and feeling like I was going to pass out. This kick started months of torment, which with the help of therapy, I now believe was a panic

They Do Not Believe You. Get a Kardia!
So I had a video appointment recently with an ep. Unfortunately, some of my medical records did not arrive at his office on time, so he only had partial records. He had some ekg's that showed flutter, but he couldn't find one with afib. I explained to him that I have a 40-year history of afib progressing

Hello everybody, I would be very grateful for advice. My problem is that after covid booster Moderna (September) I started feeling lots of ectopics (never had before). Tried deep breathing, flecainide 50 twice a day, metoprolol 25 mg but nothing helped. My cardiologist sent me to numerous tests:
