Kardia showed normal sinus rhythm with wide QRS

I have the Kardia and have the advanced determination so it records 6 arrhythmias

I have so far stayed in NSR for last 34 days, from July it has been every 7/10 days, so really pleased.

But did one tonight and it gave normal sinus rhythm with wide QRS I have clicked on it and it says something about branch block.

I did it again 5 mins later and it says NSR I also tried again an hour later again NSR.

My query is if I NSR with wide QRS would it show every time I take an ecg?

I have P-AF very hypothyroid and have HBP at times

On Apixiban anticoagulant

Losartan 25 mg

Verapamil as pip

Quite possibly drug related but since it was a one off I would ignore. Go by how you feel.

Wide QRS is of concern if sustained but I think many of us had occasional similar readings.

When I was taking flecanaide I had a reading of nsr with wide QRS. I emailed the cardiac nurse who said the reading was not wide enough to be of any concern and it was probably just a one off, which it was. My advice would be to inform the Cardiac/ Arrythmia nurse in case they want to take a look at the meds your on, but I wouldn’t be too concerned.

from the site but I paid £100 to get the advanced determination so it also shows 6 others, mine did though before I purchased that said if I was in Af

I have the original kardia and it picks up NSR tachycardia and possible atrial fibrillation mine also picked up inverted T waves which led to a couple of stents so I'd say yours is working ok and your lucky to get those results

You need to pay a monthly or yearly subscription to get your ECG examined by an "expert". These extra ECG interpretations are called "extra determinations". The exact offers from AliveCor ( who make the Kardia device) re "extra determinations" vary from country to country, so you will need to check what the offer is in Canada.

I don’t send them off, but I wanted to see if I had other palps what they were, I am in U.K. it has picked a couple of different ones up but it does give security to me seeing it say sinus rhythm 😁

Sorry, I was replying to Zeinmassri's apparent "confusion" about not having "extra determinations". He lives in Canada.

I’ve had a few show on my Kardia 6L over a few months. Everyone when analysed was not wide QRS.

All my readings come back with wide QRS now after I had my ablation. I've been told by several different Drs it's normal for me and of no concern

I had this happen to me twice and my EP said not to worry about it.
