Advise on bypass surgery
I was sent for a
Echocardiogram
and because of results was not allowed to go home. I had bypass surgery to remove a tumour the size of an egg. I've been left with palpitations and a fast heart rate. My after care has been terrible. I've had no one to ask for advice.

Appalling Outpatients Appointment
I want to share the awful treatment I had at my appointment with the Neurology consultant at my local hospital last week. At little background to it - I had not had a face-to-face consultation since April 2019, no appointment in 2020 and a telephone appointment in April 2021 by the consultant I've seen

The blood test results where abnormal in so many different levels, including sodium, potassium, hemoglobin and that magic PN-Pro BNP (I never heard of it either) and in the notes “Indications of heart failure” recommend
echocardiogram
and specialist consultation within 6 weeks.

General Anaesthetics for Pulmonary-Hypertension patients
I've just been referred to a Pulmonary-Hypertension consultant by my Cardiologist as my latest
Echocardiogram
says I have "intermediate probability of pulmonary hypertension", along with "moderate mitral valve regurgitation". My question relates to General Anaesthetics (GAs).

No differences between study arms were observed in heart rate, blood pressure, hemodynamics parameters, energy expenditure, and in

Cardiac Amyloidosis
During his examination he heard an odd heart rhythm and referred her to a cardiologist who, after an
echocardiogram
, strongly suspected Cardiac amyloidosis (irregular proteins in the organs).

Good news!!
Had a stress
echocardiogram
today. Heart perfectly healthy nothing wrong at all. No fluid or blockage. Could have had virus or maybe vaccine caused fluid. Feel like I’ve won the lottery.

Post hospital stay
I am confused. I spent two days last week at the hospital after breathing difficulties and chest pain. I had left sided heart failure with preserved ejection fraction diagnosed in January this year. Heart attack was ruled out and pulmonary embolism suspected after a positive D dimer test but not confirmed

Chest pain/heart attack and anxiety
I also had an
Echocardiogram
, ECG and bloods done in the last two months and all were great even seen a cardiologist but I’m still having this sudden pain come on and off over the last couple days. Is it possible that I’ve had a heart attack, is it my anxiety, just genuinely worried.

Good news from scan after being on Osmertinib for 3 months...
The scan also showed an amount of fluid around my heart so organised an
echocardiogram
. I had this on Monday and the lady performing the test was so nice. She told me there was a 'moderate' amount of fluid.

30 Day Cardiac Monitor
I also had a
echocardiogram
today. I was diagnosed with a valve that didn’t close properly, and regurgitated blood, a few years ago. Past few years it just got worse.
