query re DIY heart/circulation monitoring
I have had two semi -lying down ecgs, two chest X-rays and an
echocardiogram
… all reported back as ok. I am on a waiting list to be tilt table tested for PoTS, but the falls clinic specialist has already suggested this as unlikely ( I am nearly 70!).

Results of recent Echocardiogram
I don’t really have any symptoms so it’s been a massive shock, my surgeon has decided to monitor me every 6 months and I was wondering if anyone can make any sense of these figures from my latest
echocardiogram
. Thanks

Should I have been informed that I have mild aortic stenosis...was told my results are normal
Recently had an
echocardiogram
because a heart mumur was picked up. When I eventually tracked down the doctor for my results he said everything was normal. I wanted to see the results for myself and requested the results.

Bleeding (sorry …rather descriptive )
Btw I’ve had a couple more ECG tests since plus an
Echocardiogram
test which showed a perfectly normal heart. I think and ECG shows the electrical ?

Atrial Fibrillation. Help.
Was told an
echocardiogram
would be done. I asked about waiting times, thinking it might be quicker to pay in the current situation. I was told that wasn’t necessary and that it’d be done in a couple on months. That was a month ago.

Cardioversion NHS waiting time.
Echocardiogram
done. Cardioversion likely to be recommended. Wondered what waiting times people were experiencing? Thanks for any contributions.

Post ablation comfort
The cardio team had to employ a special internal
echocardiogram
catheter (an ICE) to avoid disturbing previous scarring from hole in heart op 55 years ago. I know this is all part of a process and I’m not expecting miracles but I’m not afraid to have further procedures if needed.

2 week Holter moniter
I have previously had a 24-hour ECG, but I have just seen someone during my
echocardiogram
and they mentioned that a two week monitor is a different device.

aortic stenosis
Quite a shock when the Dr heard a heart murmur and ordered an
echocardiogram
. Any advice from others with this condition would be greatly appreciated.

EF Question
I just had a trans thoracic
echocardiogram
performed. The report states that I have a normal left ventricular size. Borderline LVH. Plus, it states that my left ventricular EF by visual assessment is estimated to be 55%.

Angiogram
The
echocardiogram
hadn’t been reviewed so she was going to ask the consultant to check it this week. Am I having an angiogram because they have spotted a blockage or do other heart things show up on the CT scan? As the CT scan shows something, would the
echocardiogram
show problems as well?

AF With Heart Twinges
I've had an
echocardiogram
which showed a dilated left atrium but nothing out of the ordinary for AF, numerous Holter monitors, a stress test, and have recently been diagnosed with flutter as well as AFib.

Moderate mitral valve regurgitation/prolapse
Unfortunately, the hospitals where I had the
echocardiogram
and the one where I had the cardiologist appointment were not on the same computer system, despite both being NHS and only a couple of miles away from each other, so the consultant couldn’t see the pictures of the
echocardiogram
.

Ablation appointment take two …..
They need to use an internal
echocardiogram
on me (ICE) due to previous heart surgery and clot risk. There is only one such thing in the locality which is why they had to cancel todays appointment.

Longstanding hypertension
I saw a Cardiologist yesterday who after reviewing my CT angiogram and
echocardiogram
said my arteries and heart are perfection, like brand new copper pipes. I have to say, I'm thrilled, I assumed after years of spikes of BP my inners would be somewhat damaged.

Aortic Valve Replacement Monitoring
In August I had an ECG and an
echocardiogram
and was signed off by him. The valve is working well and I think I made the best decision for me. I am now wondering what to do about future monitoring. My GP has shown zero interest before and after I opted to go private.
