How often should I have/expect to have an
echocardiogram
following an HA in 2019, I’ve had one a year ago but is it part of an annual check?

Sat around useless anxious and waiting for anything to happen
Hi everybody out there. Not been on here for a week or more. As you can tell from my title I seem to be on an absolute downer. I feel like I am in limbo. I am awaiting open heart surgery on my aortic valve and I have severe regurgitation but I have had echo cardiogram and breathing tests still awaiting

PAF Early stages
I have already seen a cardiologist, had an ECG and
Echocardiogram
done, both came up with normal results. I have had CT angiogram ( waiting for results ) and I am having a 48 Holter fitted on Monday, with a follow up with cardiologist on Friday.

Leaking Bicuspid aortic valve
I know my heart is enlarged from my
echocardiogram
, however don’t know anything more yet. I am worried and more frustrated at the length of time it has taken to diagnose and the fact I’m still waiting on further tests.

Has anyone had irregular heart rate and palpitations intermittently, but been told by a cardiologist that it’s normal?
The cardiologist did an
echocardiogram
on me in the morning and said my heart was normal, that the palpitations were normal. He told me to stop using my pulse oximeter-implying that it was somehow causing the problem because I was focusing on the heart rate-which at times went down to 34!

Left Bundle Branch Block & Left Ventricular Dysfunction
Had ultrasound and it come back I have LBBB and moderate left ventricular systolic dysfunction (by
echocardiogram
). Cardiologist said sometimes the echo can often over-estimate the degree of impairment so will have to wait until MRI results to come back.

From there she arranged an
echocardiogram
which was originally due in 2020, and this was eventually carried out in January of this year.

The plan was to use an exercise bike to increase my heart rate ti 128 bpm then use ultrasound
echocardiogram
and ECG to look at my heart, Before I'd even started to pedal my heart rate was 130 and it was hard to see from the ECGs if I was in Sinus and if so what would explain the hgh rate or whether

Early Morning chest tightness
Anyway, I don't know whether to ask my GP for a private referral to a cardiologist for perhaps an
Echocardiogram
or a CT scan to try to bottom this.
