Lab Tests Indicate High Lipase
Has anyone taking prednisone and Actemra had a high lipase on their routine lab tests. I’m on 4 mg prednisone and bi-weekly injections of Actemra for GCA. I get lab tests every month, and the past several months Lipase is high (usually around 60-70). I’ve done a CT scan with the dye, and was told

Total knee replacement
19 days post op - been very tough especially when COVID thrown into the mix! My muscle tone wasn’t great pre-op but is now nonexistent. Is it possible to build muscle tone with PMR? Without PMR it’s possible to build good muscle tone with regular exercises but no matter how frequently I do my post op

Easy squeeze eye drops
Happy and healthy new year to you lovely people. I have recently had a hand op and my other hand is giving up the ghost. I have Sjögren’s syndrome as well as ra and have to put eye drops in regularly. I was wondering if any of you use eye drops that are easy to squeeze or if any of you use a bottle applicator

long term omeprazole use
I was taking omeprazole for about 15 years and stopped in December last year, as I had done some research and found out it can affect stomach acid. No one told me to stop taking it. I don’t even know why I was put on it in the first place, up I think it was for IBS. I haven’t had any acid reflux or indigestion

declining & blurred sight in one eye
I have glaucoma in my left eye which used to be my dominant eye. The right eye is so far fine although very short-sighted. Sight in left eye is 6/120 and 6/12 in right and I have (again) managed to pass DVLA test. However I do struggle with TV, reading supermarket signs, etc because of the blurred vision

I was diagnosed high grade stage 3c peritoneal in Autumn 2021, I have had carbo/taxol/avastin, debulking surgery. Followed by avastin alone which did not work, then carbo/caelyx which worked very well. I have had just over a year on Niraparib but sadly it is no longer working. I am due to start

Has anyone tried pulsed electric magnetic field therapy for PMR relief?
I am having trouble tapering. Can't seem to get much below 15 mg; went down to 10 mg but still having some pain in the mornings. So increased dosage on advice of rheumy. At this rate, I'll be on prednisone for a long, long time. So wondering if anyone has tried alternative treatments to try to get

Weight loss and Ketogenic diets
Hi Team,I'm curious about people experience with Ketogentic diets? I've let medication settle for four months now, and can see that much needed weight loss will be a grind . 😐 I have read about Ketogentic diets and was generally sceptical about dietary restriction. First line information often states

Strange sensation
Hi guys.I've been having some constipation and gas issues. I read massaging the abdomen can be helpful, so I did. When I got around the hip area I felt sharp pains , very uncomfortable , on both sides. It could possibly be gas ? Just thought I'd ask if anyone has felt this type of pain. The massage
