I have glaucoma in my left eye which used to be my dominant eye. The right eye is so far fine although very short-sighted. Sight in left eye is 6/120 and 6/12 in right and I have (again) managed to pass DVLA test. However I do struggle with TV, reading supermarket signs, etc because of the blurred vision in left eye. Has anyone come up with an approach that helps with this? I occasionally use an eye patch at the computer but wonder what else I could try. Thanks

Hello t55ddy,
My blurry vision sounds similar , but it is caused by an epi-retinal membrane on one eye which has recently advanced to cause wavy lines. I also have one very good eye ...luckily !
When reading I sometimes close the bad eye to see more clearly and my optician has suggested considering having a fuzzy lens in the reading glasses for the bad eye .
I have an appointment with the retinal surgeon in November to discuss options.
Apparently having good sight in one eye will often allow people to keep their licence.
Please post on here if you find a solution and I will ask the retinal surgeon.
Meanwhile best wishes.
