Feeling like Chemo is too Hard
Hi. I was diagnosed 3B HG in August 2018, had surgery, frontline, first recurrence ( carbo and caelyx/doxil), 3 years of Olaparib, one year on nothing and now am having carboplatin alone for second recurrence. My oncologist said this would be relatively easy. Also I haven’t had some of the worst complications

Temperature Issues in Besremi due to poor packaging during shipping...
Hi all, I may have mentioned this before, but while my response to the maximal dosage of Besremi has been measurable in other ways, my Hct control has been off and on. Most of the time SWMBO is at home to receive and sign for the monthly delivery of Besremi, so it wasn't until I was out of work [from

Cataract after Preserflo treatment
I'm 4 months after glaucoma surgery / preseflo, I still have blurred vision - today I was diagnosed with a cataract on the operated eye and also retinal swelling. Does anyone have experience with such a case - how to treat it (cataract surgery will help). I will be glad for the reactions - experience

GCA flare and eye sight
I have GCA. I have a new rheumatologist who practices at University Hospital in a clinic designed for patients with vasculitis and certain auto immune diseases (GCA being one of them), who has told me that I need to not worry about losing eye sight during the course of tapering prednisone or a flare

Mucus back again
Hi all. As some may remember I suffer from ongoing mucus discharge from rectum. I had a colonoscopy done year and 3/4 ago and clear. All tests.I went gluten dairy free. It worked and did stop it happening everyday but for some weird reason past 3 weeks I've had all my symtoms back again with vengeance

How to Know When Disimpaction is Complete
I'm doing disimpaction for my 7 year old. She's been constipated and on laxatives for years. I did 2 weeks of the sachet schedule and then 6 days adding bisacodyl tablet at night & suppository morning. She's had very watery stool (sometimes clear or light brown with just tiny bits spraying out, sometimes

worried
Hi there, I’ve been struggling with constipation for a few years but recently every 2-3 weeks when I actually need to go I get shocking pains that feel like I’m in labour but am constipated for ages and then awful runs that have blood. I have a niggly right hand pain, feel full very quick and not eating

ibs an a wee rant
Hi, it’s been a while since I last posted re ibs. It’s been 20 odd years that I’ve gradually suffered (more) with what I thought and was told was ibs. I’ve tried various diets/ over counter meds/ prescribed meds, basically spent a small fortune trying out various things. Over the last few years my diarrhoea

Turmeric
I have been amazed at the effect taking turmeric has had on the amount of pain I experience in my hands and how quickly this has happened. (Yes, I know about the placebo effect!) I would recommend anyone to try it (providing they check with their haems/doctors first). I take 2 capsules of turmeric extract

Struggling to bring down blood sugars
Hi Friends, As some of you know I've been on a journey and taking T3 was the real game changer. I am under the care of a fantastic private Endo. I've included my thyroid and sugar results in this post. My insulin is elevated indicating insulin resistance. All tests are done fasting and no meds

Apixaban side effects/adverse reactions
Many months ago, I tried Rivaroxaban but found it affects my ability to focus my eyes. Switched to Apixaban and that has seemed OK. However, two things have happened. I had a neurological assessment which found almost zero reflexes in my arms. And my feet have become very dry and are starting to become

super high gastrin level
hi there - I just got diagnosed with pernicious anemia, autoimmune gastritis, and Barrett’s esophagus 3 months ago. My gastrin in sept was 200, in Dec it was 1000, and now in March it is 2500. It’s escalated so quickly and my doctor just ordered a scan for neuroendocrine tumors. I’m freaking out —
