What are GCA headaches like?
Trying to get a diagnosis of something. Perhaps GCA? or TMJ? When you have headaches with GCA do they last for a bit or just fleeting? I'm getting stabs of head pain randomly and daily that come and go for a couple of seconds. Sometimes the pain is on the top back of my head, and now at the base

How is everyone today? I’ve just had vertigo :-(
Hi, I’m my own worst enemy at the moment as I decided to reduce my betahistine to 8mg thinking I know best...consequently I woke up with ringing ears in the middle of the night and then blocked right ear and vertigo followed this morning. Does anyone else tinker with their medication too much or is it

Possible Ménière’s disease exercises
Hi, I know this is an older thread but I have recently been told I have possible right sided Ménière’s disease. I have vertigo which has been controlled by betahistine 16mg and I have also had steroid injection into my right ear to calm down the vertigo symptoms which has worked. What I’m really struggling

I’m not ok...and for the first time, that’s ok - Welcome to burn out - who else?
Hi - I think I may be arriving at ‘Burn Out’ city. We’ve been on this rollercoaster ride for over 3 and a half years, with 3 (possibly 4) losses along the way. Our 2nd EC came around yesterday - our first round in November (mild ivf using icsi) produced promising numbers (8/9 mature eggs and 8/8 fertilising

Tubal removal and iVF success after 1 round
I had surgery to remove my tubes on April 9 due to hydrosalpinx. I am preparing for IVF. I currently 36 almost 37 has anyone had successful IVF after one round? Insurance didn't cover the surgery or any fees associated with infertility. I dont know if I will be capable of trying more than one round

Has anyone had the op for deadening the eardrum (Was on offer years ago)
Hi all Perhaps this should end up in the General tinnitus box. Many moons ago I was offered an operation to null my eardrum, I was told (from memory) that it completely takes away the noise. I think you will never hear again from that ear, but no more T. I'm not sure if it is still done, but my concern

Shake it off, an integrated approach by Dr Echels.
https://www.amazon.com/Shake-Off-Integrative-Parkinsons-Solutions-ebook/dp/B083XHPYY5 He relies a lot on acupuncture and Chinese herbs. When I was learning acupuncture at Colorado State vet medical school I asked often about problem cases. The answer was often that they use herbs along with acupuncture

White nails still worried.
I recently got white nails and posted about this before. My liver blood values are good and my doctor tells me not to worry. But they are still very white. I'm more and more concerned now. I also suffer from a depression. However, my doctor sees no reason to send me for further examination. I drank

ERA test FER cycle
Morning I'm off to my clinic today for my ERA/ALICE/EMMA tests after a FER cycle. It just feels so strange having taken all the meds and heading to the clinic but without an embryo transfer at the end of it all. Its just so demotivating, although I know it will be worth it in the long run. Usually

Hi ladies, I was just looking to hear some success stories of ivf on nhs at my age. Newbie from USA
Hi from Plymouth, MA,USA! I've been following this site for awhile and joined today. I came down with tinnitus 5 years ago after a sudden viral ear infection, with a minor hearing loss in my left ear. I don't have to tell anyone what it's like to suffer with this. Mine is a high pitched, searing laser-like

PMR Stay
This is a follow up situation from my earlier posts i.e. is it PMR or not? Have seen a Physiotherapist (recommended by a member which I’m grateful for) re my neck and leg issues. The Physiotherapist established with some certainty that my leg pain was a referral from a Facet joint problem on the left

Nasty side effects from Betahistine - is this normal?
Hi I’ve been put on 3 x 16mg tablets of betahistine for endolymphatic hydrops (severe ear pressure, also had unilateral tinnitus for years) and started taking them last Friday. I’ve been suffering from quite debilitating drowsiness (with some funny thoughts popping into my head!) and absolutely splitting

Chinese medicine for Fertility
Hi everyone, Hope you’re all having a nice day. My acupuncturist suggested looking into Chinese herbal medicine to help with fertility but I’m not sure about herbs. I have had ovarian cysts and they may have returned I’m waiting for scan. 2 failed ivf treatments one short protocol and one long protocol
