So I've got terrible blocked ear wax in one ear which is causing me headaches, nausea, vertigo, and depression... there's a a terrible pressure which feels inside my head, pressing on my brain... inner ear infection?
What can I actually do in the mean time while waiting to ot go to ENT? Ear drops? olive oil
the pain , pressure and tinnitus is UNBEARABLE something feels VERY WRONG
Have you tried the various things that have been suggested after your previous post? (sodium bicarb etc etc ) Also, you can have your ears suctioned privately - I only had to wait two days and £160 later, it was all great!
Hi Happy, where dod you go to get private suction I may well go for that, as its awful, I have used sodium barcaronate before but only in 7 days before suction, it just made it all watery and filled my ears up with gunge!!
Mine was South East Hearing Care Centre. I think some Specsavers do it. Google “ear wax removal” and see if you can find something near you. Expensive, but I thought highly of them.
Take a deep breath. It could be a long wait for ENT. Believe me. In the meantime have the wax removed privately as rosie says. Any local hearing centre will do this for you. All the best.

Since lockdown our Surgery is not doing syringing which is my preference.
Whether they will start up again I don`t know. So in the meantime I have been paying to have mine ears done locally - just £50 whether you have one ear done or both. You just pay for the appointment.
I believe that Boots do microsuction and I think that`s £50 too.
I use Earol Spray to soften the wax before syringing . I also use it on a regular basis just once a week - two sprays in each ear. It reduces the number of times I have to have a clean out.
