foreign body discovered in ear canal during wax removal
Hi, Today, I went to have my ear waxing removal done by a private health company, specialising in ear matters alone. The NHS, I believe, no longer offers ear wax removal. It’s been a long, long time sibce I last had this done. Try several methods at home to. Do wax removal with very little success.

FET cancelled due to thin lining and delayed bleed
Hi, Has anyone been in a similar situation? Following ICSI we couldn’t transfer due to thin lining. However we were lucky to get some embryos to freeze. We tried our first medicated FET (started 6mg Progynova, increased to 8mg day 13) unfortunately it was cancelled due to lining still not thickening

While Accupunture, like so many treatments we try may help some for RLS, it did not effect much in the way of benefit for me.
I chose a well educated PhD acupuncturist who came highly recommended for RLS. First session was to treat blood flow and liver cleansing (she suspected my RLS could be from lack of blood flow although not sure why she suspected this since I have no known medical reasons.) Second and third treatment

Problem with ear
I don't experience hearing loss as severe dizziness and loss of balance. Was told it was to do with shifting blood pressure. However, I am not so sure.

Will this go by August?
So it's been just over a month since I've had T caused by clarithromycin. Since I last posted I've seen a high street audiologist for a hearing test and to discuss the T. No hearing loss, which is good right? Hearing loss can make T caused by antibiotics permanent, I've read. The audiologist sent a

New jaw pain at 50 mg PRED?
Hi all, I'm a GCA patient since AUG 2022. I had started at 60 MG, and weaned too quickly down to 20 MG. 2 1/2 weeks ago my rheumy advised me to go back up to 50 MG for 4 weeks, then 40 for 4 weeks, etc. I'm currently still on 50 MG. BTW, he advised that I up the dosage because of elevated inflammatory

Dealing with nonallergic rhinitis (NAR)
For more than 50 years, I have suffered from "hay fever"-like symptoms that are, however, related to changes in weather/air pressure. So not just in spring, but throughout the year. Recently, I noticed that the symptoms are suddenly becoming more frequent. Normally, the attacks last 2 to 4 days. But

***Sensitive** Natural pregnancy after 4 IVF failures
Hey all, I actually can't quite believe I'm writing this, but I'm after similar stories and support. This is my story - I have been TTC for 6+ years now started ivf back in 2021, due to unexplained fertility. Told IVF was my only option. First NHS funded round was a disaster, poor embryo quality,

Tinnitus spikes all day.
I start most days it T in one ear, just about bearable, but without warning, it gets louder and in both ears. It's making me so depressed and makes everything so hard to cope with. I literally don't know how I'm going to live with this for the rest of my life. This has been 2 months of pure hell. Is

It's game over for us - how do we move on from failed IVF?
We started IVF after a complicated MMC just before the first lockdown in the UK and a misdiagnosis of partial molar pregnancy resulting in a couple of months of going into hospital for tests at the height of the pandemic. We didn't ever want to suffer a miscarriage ever again and had been told we could

Worsening tinnitus and spaciness - vaccine/menopause?
Hello everyone, I had my second covid booster six weeks ago and two days after I developed a spacey/dizzy, unreal feeling, which remains today. The fairly mild tinnitus that I’d had for over 30 years started to get increasingly louder about a week later. Following an MRI which unfortunately significantly

I have been having acupuncture and the guy I go to puts on a CD but Somtimes the background noise is a bit loud as I’m having it done at my clinic! So I’d like to put my headphones in and listen so one on my phone. Preferably free Thanks
