Hi Ballantyne, it isn't just the size but it's also where it is positioned which can cause symptoms, and so you may feel off balance with the tinnitus that can also make you feel unwell. As it grows on the vestibular nerve i found it also made me feel nauseous a lot too as it was effecting my balance. I also found stress contributed to things which made things harder. If you can find something to de stress, it helps with coping and knowing we are all in it together and can support each other helps too
I had a 44mm neuroma which was partially removed by surgery 4 years back. Tinnitus started for an year back and continues. The only way to live with it is to ignore and not to pay attention to it, although its so irritating .
Hi , I have also tinnitus and I agree that it is hard to ignore. You may need time to ignore it . I am listening music to cover the tinnitus and maybe you can try same. For me , tinnitus is getting more obvious in silent enviroments.
mine nut to big either but it’s where it is the noise is unbearable at times and 50 % heari g gone that’s what makes it feel like it’s a big numb stress makes it worse
