So I have anxiety and major depressive disorder. I’ve been doing acupuncture, ketamine therapy, talk therapy, and have a psychiatrist. I’m really trying to calm my nervous system and retrain it to help my anxiety. Also been trying to rewire my brain from over thinking and over analyzing. Trying more positive self talk. It’s been a struggle. Does anyone have things that I can try that have really worked for them? I’m very dedicated to my healing journey now and doing everything I can to take care of myself.

Sounds like you're on the right track. I'm just an old woman that struggles with my mental issues, probably since day one. I would suggest you try practicing mindfulness. It's been the best tool in my chest for years. I use an app called Calm. Practicing mindfulness calms me down & helps me stay in the moment & logical. I haven't perfected it yet. I'm working on myself. Trying my damnedest to get in track & stay there.I hope this helps you .

Hello MoonChild12, it sounds like you are involved in a lot of good therapies in your journey for healthy living. Additionally, for me being fully absorbed in a meaningful job (full or part-time) or hobby is very therapeutic like meditation, no time for negativity while doing it and makes my mind and body feel good and heal.
