Hi girls, I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2005 after an incidental finding of a cyst on my left ovary for which I had a laparotomy and ovarian cystectomy. I had no symptoms at the time but for the past 4 years have been continuously in and out of hospital with severe pain. I have had about 4-5

Trust Your Pharmacist?
Today the BBC has posted the story below. Funny how we are always being told to consult with our pharmacists because they know so much. I guess that precludes them claiming ignorance in these cases? [i] 17 December 2012 Last updated at 10:28

Whats stronger than tramadol?
I currently take tramadol andstrongco-codamol for my fibro pain as well as other fibro meds but lately they arent touching the facial pain or especially the pain in both knees.I have been sat crying with the pain. I have just made an appointment with my gp and i would like ideas of what to try next.

Diagnosis, and available treatments in the UK
Hi Guys, I recently posted about Pip, which you gave me some really helpful and settling advice. I now have a more lung related question/problem. I have been diagnosed with what my Specialist says is 'Significant Emphysema, late stage 3/ Stage 4. In the past its always just been 'Emphysema', However

Lousy day - pain and depression
Yesterday was dreadful. I could barely manage the essential luggage, then I ended up doing the whole of the rat computer results as well as my Show Sec stuff, and various other bits of hassle as well. The journey back was even worse - walking from the bus to London Bridge Station is such a long way

Pain management
I am new to this site and have had IBS for nearly 5 years. I suffer from excruciating lower left side pain, dizziness, loss of consciousness, vary constantly between constipation and diarrhoea. I have tried the following medicines (plus CBT) without success: mebeverine, colpernin, buscopan, paracetamol

Can anyone help with shoulder and neck pain?
I have been told I need indefinite chemopheraphy in order to keep my Stage 4 lung cancer tumour from spreading and have had 12 so far. To control the pain I am taking MST Continus Prolonged Release Morphine, Oramorph, and Amitriptyline. Over the last two weeks I have suffered breathing problems and pain

Use of morphine with lung conditions?
My dad has been on oramorph for a while now, to help open up his airways, not really for pain relief. And his hospice also put him on MST last week for the same reason. However, dad read the patient information leaflet with them and it said do not take if you have a lung condition. Can anyone shed
