Going for sinus op on Wednesday
This Wednesday I'm going in for my sinus operations, it's a FESS (draining of the mucus) a septoplasty (straightening my septum) which is apparently very misshaped inside and a CIT (burning out inflammation). For 2 weeks I'll be terribly blocked but then I should start to feel better after that, I've

Lesli Bitel and her Ldn story
Lesli Bitel suffered for 20 years which she felt was from mould exposure, and her autoimmune system was trashed. She had an accident that left her with spinal stenosis, which added to her pain. None of the usual pain killing drugs and procedures were helping. One year ago she finally saw a functional

Significant other has cognitive issues from coma 50 years ago
Although I've known about his coma since I met him 7 years ago, it didn't become clear how impaired he is until we made a geographical move and he had to work at a new job in his career. He was fired a year later and from many other jobs after that. All he can do is work in retail now which only pays

Post TBI Problems
Hello, I had a severe head injury around 20 years ago when I was 5 years old. A depressed skull fracture where a piece of my skull pierced my brain. This led to a bleed on my brain which required surgery. I was fine after about 6 months and growing up Iāve never had any major issues other than getting

SWEATING PMR/GCA AND TAPERING
I know this subject has come up before on this forum but as I am having MY turn with breaking into grandiose sweats (night and day) I thought I'd 'air' (preferably cool-air) the subject again. After tapering to 12.5mg from a high Pred dose for GCA a year ago - yes I know (I was wishful thinking) TOO

4 year old boy wetting
We have always had trouble with toilet training - we have been doing it for 18 months. We began more at a push from the nursery as he was going up to an older class. Pooing was always the initial problem. So much so he would try and push it back up. when he eventually sat on the potty or the toilet

CONDOLENCES TO ALL SUFFERING A LOSS.......
"And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (somewhere in Matthew?) As long as you remember them--and what and who you were in their physical presence--they are there with you. Not the same, surely, but comforting nonetheless, at least to me. I was emotionally and physically shattered

Looking for a Doc in Scotland
Hello, I currently live in America; however, there is a good chance I will be moving to Edinburgh, Scotland. I have Hashimoto's, and the corresponding Adrenal problems. I am currently seeing a functional doctor who has me on NDT, and low dose naltrexone. I've made some improvement with this treatment

diet coke
Does anyone here drink a lot of diet coke. I have had 2 terrible bouts of anxiety and depression over the last 20 years. I was a habitual diet coke drinker, maybe 3 to 4 cans a day and each time I decided to quit drinking to try to be healthier Each bout of anxiety/depression occurred around these

So all along in the run up to this hospital appointment I have been convinced that its not my brain injury its something else, I went to the appointment and they said my horomones are fine and they think it could be all injury related because im getting older so they have asked my gp to refer me to
