Tetanus shot?? Any interactions with Imbruvica?
My husband got a tetanus shot because he was cut with something rusty and hadn't had one in at least 10 years. I haven't had one either, but if I do get cut, or otherwise need one, am I able to get it without a reaction because of CLL or Imbruvica???? Googled it but I didn't get any good results.

I started calquence and have had severe headaches that don’t get much better with NSAIDS. What is everyone doing for those?

Olmesartan (Omesar) and NSAIDs
My doctor has put me on Olmesartan 10mg in addition to the Amlopidine 5gm I'm already on. To further lower my BP from 150. The patient leaflet says not to use NSAIDs with the Olmesartan. The doctor is away til Monday,so I'm asking the community if they have any experience of this. I use naproxen

chicken pox and pmr
My granddaughter has just been diagnosed with chicken pox. It’s her first birthday tomorrow and the following day, a party and bbq was planned. This may go ahead in a shortened form as she appears only mildly affected. My question is - am I at risk of catching chicken pox (severely) if I am in the same

Shingles Vaccine

chicken pox
I would appreciate advice on chicken pox I had chicken pox as an adult when my children got it. I have also had a shingles vaccine. My grandson is just recovering and we’re waiting to see if his sister catches it. I’m on 5mg prednisone and we’re wondering if I should still be careful and stay clear

Pain relief when you have cirrhosis?
I know this is only a minor problem compared to many on here (and I apologise for that) but does anyone have any experience of trying to get adequate pain relief when you have cirrhosis? I have widespread osteoarthritis, and severe nerve pain caused by problems with my back and neck - but the Zapain

Donating and Ibuprofen
For those of you who have donated are you able to take ibuprofen now? I have horrible menstrual cramps and ibuprofen is the only thing that helps. I take it 3-4 days out of the month. I've heard you can't take NSAIDs after donating. I'm worried if I donate then I won't be able to take ibuprofen for

subacute thyroiditis and pregnant
Hi all, I am 6 weeks pregnant and on the 1st of September I was diagnosed with subacute thyroiditis (bloods and ultrasound). I was admitted to A&E as I had a fever and a high hart rate (145). The first endocrinologist that saw me said that normally they would start with NSAIDs but as I am pregnant

Ruxolitinib and NSAIDs
Would anyone care to comment on the Jakafi label warnings against using NSAIDs? There is reportedly an increased risk of bleeding. If this is really the case, I guess I'm limited to acetaminophen for pain management.

shingles vaccination
I thought I posted but something went wrong! I have recurring shingles, had it since age 25. I have it currently. I read the shingles post and see shingrix is best option - I have pmr and on very low dose steroid at 2per day dropping slowly to one per day. (10 per week). I want a private vaccination
