I started calquence and have had severe headaches that don’t get much better with NSAIDS. What is everyone doing for those?

crazy headaches
Caffeine in any form, perhaps aided by acetaminophen (marketed as Tylenol, Panadol, APAP, Paracetamol, depending where you live) nearly always works. Thankfully these headaches rarely persist beyond a few weeks.

I couldn’t have made it with out my coffee. One day my head hurt so badly I was unable to stand so I crawled to the coffee pot….
That was only one day, however, I dealt with headaches of some degree for six months. It was worth it as my labs are GREAT!!! Platelets hang around 70 and I receive IVIG every 4 weeks but I have never felt better. Calquence is my third line treatment.
Hang in there it will pay off!

The headaches should resolve with time and caffeine. They was so debilitating for me that I could not move or open my eyes, so a dose reduction was required. I would check with your specialist about taking NSAIDS though. I've been told to avoid them while on this medication.
I think your suppose to take Tylenol and caffeine. I drink two mugs at breakfast.
I would drink 2-3 liters of water unless having other health issues that would prevent it.
I am definitely going to add in coffee, Tylenol and add more water. Thank you so very much for all of your help! Those headaches are crazy!
