Child anxiety
9 yr old Child is constantly worried they will throw up. It has gotten to the point of constant crying. My child doesn’t even look like my child anymore when she’s home.. we have been to multiple GIs and an EMT. We have seen her general provider for this issue and had numerous test, blood, ct and ultrasounds

Pretty quick failure of ADT + Zytiga... next?
Quick history: 2019 PSA of 20, a few probable spinal mets, bicalutamide monotherapy mid-2020 for six months failed early-2021 after PSA dropped to 3.8. Tried to initiate ADT via tE2 with estrogen patches in Spring 2021, but could not get T to castrate levels, stubbornly above 150 even at higher doses

Low protein diet article
Low protein diets were discovered to help CKD and to postpone kidney failure as far back as the 19th century. Now it seems to be touted as a new approach. I found the article interesting. I was looking up diets to increase my protein since it's below normal on my last bloodwork and came across this

Is this diet book any good?
I received an email from Amazon recommending this diet book for polymyalgia. I have read on this forum how members find a low carb diet to be beneficial, but this diet recommends low fat and meat and suggests it might even help to cure PMR and prevent GCA. I have copied the summary below. What do members

Queries re iron absorption
Hi all, I paid for a Blue Horizon blood test and wondered if anyone could help with the following feedback? These were only taken 1 week after my latest GP blood tests. - Am I right thinking this confirms that I don't have Hashimotos? - Generally levels look ok with exception of Ferritin which is still

Are oats ok for a gluten-free diet?
Hello there I’m hypothyroid and gluten-free because it helps with absorption of Levothyroxine (I’m not coeliac). I’ve been avoiding oats but I’ve now read oats are ok? What are people’s thoughts/experiences? Thank you
