Yep. But I'd say skip breakfast, eat lunch and supper instead. Eat as much fat as you can. Sautee your green veggies in olive oil, put full cream in your coffee, on your berries, stuff like that.
If you are going to do this, make sure to watch your carb intake carefully. Check for hidden sugar, in stuff like salad dressing! You might even want to moderate your protein a little.
When you start, it really seems counterintuitive...like, to preferenterally eat the skin of the chicken and not the meat, the yolk of the egg and not the white. Etc.
Well I just had a talk with a nutrionalist from the hospital that have been working with diet, fatty liver, fibrosis, regret but this suggestions are wrong for me, no skin on chicken, no cream in coffee, I am being instructed to keep it at 30 grams of carbs if net carbs figured or 50 carbs figured on whole carbs. This sounds more like the Atkins Diet. But thankyou for your advice. Just not right for me with my liver and diabetes.
OK, but you're right, that is not a ketogenic diet! Only fat turns into ketones in your body.
