Glycine and N-acetylcysteine (GlyNAC) supplementation?
Can anybody figure out this dosing please? OAs were provided capsules of glycine (1.33 mmol/kg/day) and cysteine (0.81 mmol/kg/day, provided as N-acetylcysteine [NAC]) . That second link is to a very positive study. Glutathione and Parkinson's disease: is this the elephant in the room? https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

How Can This Be ?
Hello my friends. I have been on this "super healthy diet" for 2 years now. Completely changed ALL my eating habits to everything I was told to do. No Cheating at all. I go to have a full blood work checkup. I knew ALL my numbers just had to be great. But I was shocked !* It's like a bad dream. This

Non-diabetic hypoglycemia symptoms but normal HbA1c level
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with non-diabetic hypoglycemia despite having a blood test that showed a normal HbA1c level? The doctor’s receptionist wouldn’t tell me if my HbA1c level was at the lower or higher end of normal. My blood sugar level hasn’t been tested after fasting

Biohackers making open source insulin to reduce cost
This may have been posted already so sorry if I missed it and I’m duplicating. Slightly off topic in that this applies to insulin and diabetes but the principle is very interesting and I’m sure could be applied to T3/NDT. The article explains in a bit more detail but the brief version in that biohackers

Gluten Free Spaghetti 🍝, Tuna 🐟, PB Powder & Mango 🥭 Greek Yogurt: Dinner
Hi everyone. For dinner tonight, I had gluten free spaghetti mixed with tuna and protein powder that was peanut butter flavored. I also had a Mango Greek yogurt for dessert. The entire meal was 63 total carbs.. it was really good cold for a very warm night.😀👍🍝🐟🥭 Enjoy your evening and stay safe

Odema and diuretics
I was diagnosed last September with ARLD and had a severe attack of HE that I almost didn't survive. I'm managing to control this with meds but my partner sees blips of HE now and then in my behaviour. My consultant has stopped my diuretic because it's effecting my liver and I've blown up like a balloon

Hi all I have been using vsl3 for around 5 years, which I use to get on prescription but now they have stopped that so need to buy them at £40 box of 30. I was taking two sachets a day so that is £80 a month which struggle to afford. My neighbour told me about this probiotic granules as she had UC

Dagnosed Prediabetic?
I was recently summoned by my surgery to have a Haemoglobin A1c level blood test for type 2 diabetes, which apparently I had 3 years ago, but do not recollect at all. The result was that it was 42 mmol/mol (whatever that means?) an increase from 41 in 2018. The standard range for non-diabetic is 20.0

wiped out after second pfizer jab
Ten days after my second pfizer jab i went dowhill rather quickly. Exhaustion, stiffness and pain in lower back, buttocks and groin. I have been getting flares regularly over the last year, this seems to be much worse. I've gone up to 21mgs deflazacort which doesn't seem to do much. I'm left pretty

Follow up on my post Diflucan issue.
As I wrote in another post the Diflucan given to me for thrush seem to have reduced my adrenal function to the point where I needed to go back up to 10 mg for a few days. This was accompanied by very low blood sugar. So I tried to go down after about three days on 10 mg going down a milligram a day 9,8,7

Velvet bean (Mucunapruriens) – a hope for Parkinson’s Disease
Medicinal uses of Mucuna pruriens Anti-Parkinson’s activity: The clinical syndrome of Parkinsonism was identified in ancient India even before the period of Christ and was treated methodically. According to Bhasavarajyam, the Parkinsonism was treated by the administration of powdered seed of M. pruriens

What is your take on Soybean? 🧐🤔
Edamame has always been my favorite snack since I was little. I usually steam and sprinkle a little bit of sea salt. You may find edamame prepared the same way as appetizer when you go to a sushi restaurant. I found many health benefits from edamame but one thing I’m concerned is phytoestrogen or isoflavones

Post transplant diabetes
Hi, I am just over 3 years post transplant and just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Is there anything that transplant patients have to do differently to regular diabetics ? Is anyone else in the same boat as me ?
