Shielding
I have been studying recent advice regarding shielding. The advice given by the Society of Rheumatologists and various experts states that if a person is on Prednisolone with other problems i.e. over 70, diabetic, high blood pressure, heart problems etc. they should be shielding. According to my GP this

Enterococcus faecalis and Sinemet
Are there supplements one can take to reduce E Faecalis naturally? Other than Camomille, which I already drink, and garlic, which I already take in my food, I didn’t find much. According to this link, posted by aspergerian13 a few days ago, https://www.pnas.org/content/early/2020/04/07/2003785117 ,

Traffic pollution drops in lockdown – but other risks to air quality increase, reveal Manchester researchers.
Traffic pollution for most parts of the UK is plummeting thanks to the COVID-19 lockdown but more urban ozone – a dangerous air pollutant which can cause airway inflammation in humans - is probably being generated, say experts from The University of Manchester. The analysis was led by Hugh Coe, Professor

Weird white feet feet! (Sorry about the picture)
Hi guys! Hope everyone is well during this time. I just wondered if anyone knew anything about what’s going on here? I know obviously what it looks like; but don’t want to jump to conclusions as I know no one that has similar symptoms so cannot ask them. Alongside the colour, I get to tingling and

Neuropathy- consider acupuncture
I had pretty significant neuropathy in my feet after Taxotere. Nothing was really working, tried some supplements that one PA recommended to no avail. Rise following dip in blood glucose after a meal
I have borderline type 2 diabetes and used to take Sitagliptin. Now my doctor wants me to try a period without it. Sometimes the blood glucose value taken one hour after a meal RISES when measured two hours after a meal. I eat no food of any sort after the meal. Can anyone explain what is happening

Hi all, I hope you're managing to keep yourself safe and well during these worrying times. Bits of my face keep going numb.
Bits of my face keep going numb randomly and I get an electric shock feeling in my top lip, I've watched it go to and fro in the mirror. It's all remarkably annoying frankly. I have fibromyalgia and neuropathy in my hands. Recently my left shoulder has been really painful and causing my left arm and

ADT and hypertension?
Does anyone know of a connection between ADT and high blood pressure? My bp was normal all my life until ADT. I've been on Zoladex for 1 1/2 years, and over that time I've become hypertensive. My bp used to be about 120/65, and now it's about 148/85. I haven't found any literature on this except for

PA and palms of hands
This is probably going to be one of the stranger questions asked on this forum, however, seeing as I've read on this site about sensations and symptoms I didn't even know to attribute to PA, I thought I'd reach out to the group to see if anyone else experiences this. I was diagnosed a couple months

First time order for B12
Hi, After a nerve conduction study last week (following a clear MRI) the doctor said my neuro symptoms couldn't be B12 related as I don't have any nerve damage. Considering I've had the symptoms (continuously) for only a year, I know it can take a long time for any damage to occur. This is just one
