LVDD (Left Ventricle Diastolic Dysfunction) - Diuretic/ARB
I am from India aged 51 yrs. I got my CABG done for single artery (LAD) 6 months back. Post surgery I developed breathlessness and could not walk out for two months. Though i consulted many doctors only one doctor gave me diuretic Torasemide 5mg and that helped me to walk as my breathlessness improved

Accidental subcutaneous v. IM injection?
Hi everyone! — since I don’t have a PCP at the moment due to a move, I just completed my first self-injection. It was so much easier and more painless than it used to be at the doctor’s / than I expected! That said, I’m second-guessing my efficacy. I didn’t jab the needle 100% of the way down at a

on 3.5mgs of Prednisolone & having a colonoscopy with sedation on Saturday. Should I increase my dose of pred beforehand?
Hi all, looking for advice from you lovely knowledgeable people. I’ve tapered down from 10mg in June last year to 3.5mg 2 weeks ago with no problems, (apart from pains in my legs during the night, but I think that might be something else). I often wonder if the PMR might actually be in remission because

I am doing better in some ways. But nerve pain is awful mostly in my right foot. I just got an increase to 900 mg gabapentin. Ice pack on my foot helps a lot but of course that is not always practical. Anyone have experience with this and found any tips or tricks to help? I see wrap around feet ice packs

Difference between the Keto diet and Diabetic diet
My son has recently been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, having been prediabetic for quite a while. He also has mild kidney damage that he was unaware of until a few weeks ago. His wife, a nurse, is persuading him to follow the Keto diet, which she will also follow because she would like to lose weight

PMR & PRE DIABETIC
Hi, I was diagnosed with PMR in April this year and started off on 15mg Prednisolone and have so far managed to taper down to 10mg. I have now been told that I am pre-diabetic (thanks steroids 😡😡) and am just interested in knowing what people eat for snacks/treats or are we just expected to give
