Help with NAFLD good foods

Hi Everyone, new to this forum. I would like to see a dietician but suspect I would be turned down on the NHS. Do people eat certain foods that they know are good for the liver? I have diabetes too and struggle to keep everything on an even keel. I don't eat alot of meat, more fish and veg. If I eat too much fruit my Hba1c comes back badly. Any help would be much appreciated. Thankyou

You can download a useful 'Treating NAFLD with healthy eating and exercise' booklet from the British Liver Trust at:- britishlivertrust.org.uk/in...

They also released details of studies into the benefits of a Mediterranean style diet for NAFLD at:- britishlivertrust.org.uk/ea...

Both will probably give you good pointers.

Best wishes, Katie

Thank you very much. I'm going to put a list on my fridge to help with my weekly food shop. My best wishes to you. Linda (Monty is my dog, hence my username).
