Once again unable to sleep. Thinking about my diet. I’m having some stomach and digestive investigations. My stomach is now so distended and solid with it. It looks like I have someone else’s abdomen and my own skinny arms and legs. It’s hurting my back. I am determined to boost my health this year by

Fixing the Microbiome - Fighting Pathogens?
I do a lot of things to help my brain and clean up a-synuclein in the gut (and hopefully the brain), but it seems to me that no protocol is complete unless it addresses normalizing the microbiome, and assuming that if there is some pathogen in the microbiome that started this cascade, addressing that

Did anyone's symptoms return after going gluten free?
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with coeliac disease in December 2019 and have been on a gluten free diet ever since. I originally went to the Dr as I was having real problems with dropping things, balance, brain fog, tiredness and memory as well as having trouble explaining things and finding the correct

Hypo, anaemic or both?
I would love some advice from this group since I trust this more than the doctors I've seen! I came to this conclusion by comparing my December tests to the

Snowy Run - and a question about light headedness
Was due to do my usual 30-35 min consolidation run yesterday but the gremlins got the better of me and I ended up settling for my YWA session as my daily exercise instead. I decided that I'd go out tomorrow (today) for my run. There was more faffage this morning then a strange thing happened, I noticed

Diagnosis
So after a year and a half of being told I have Fibromyalgia, I've just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes! I'm shocked it's taken so long but more disappointed and upset with myself for not looking after myself. Feeling very overwhelmed and low but at least I know why I've felt so poorly.

Atorvastatin and PMR
Does anyone take Atorvastatin who has been diagnosed with PMR? I was diagnosed with PMR nine years ago. Couldn’t get below 3mg and have been put on a ‘ maintenance’ dose of 5mg as my adrenal glands don’t seem to want to wake up. It’s been recommended that I take a statin to protect against stroke/

Immunolgist consultation and results
Good morning all, I had quite an upsetting consultation yesterday. I was advised to switch to strictly gluten free diet (!!!!!) and that I will need steroids and G CSF for my transfer.... Has anyone any experience with G CSF? Cost and most importantly , side effects?

2022 New Year 🎁: The J R Kraft test, & the REAL pathology of Type 1 & Type 2 diabetes ( - of which T2DM is the 'end-stage' of disease !).
"2022" greetings to all readers ! Searching for "Kraft" today on this forum returned only 18 results, & none from the past year or two ! That's a pity, as the fruits of pathologist Dr Joseph R Kraft's research about insulin & associated glucose levels are worth knowing about & understanding in broad

Hypothyroidism and glucose levels
I have been thyroidless for almost 12 years (as well as hypoparathyroid). Glucose levels have usually been in the top part of the range, but lately they've jumped higher. Found one study that indicated hypothyroidism is associated with a faulty increase in hemoglobin A1C levels. This could lead to

Today's Lunch: 12-25-2021: Cheese Omelet 🍳 🧀
For lunch today, I had an
omelet that was made with liquid eggs, Munster cheese, Swiss cheese and Cheddar cheese. I also had a small glass of Vegan Eggnog and a Greek yogurt (Key Lime Blended) on the side.
The entire meal was really good and also was low carb. high protein.

Christmas carbs
I may be asking the obvious here: I have managed to keep my weight down by eating a lot fewer refined carbs and virtually no refined sugar. But my blood sugar remains high. I have never been overweight. If I eat a few small bits of eg, Christmas pudding, is it likely that my liver will go Whoopee! and
