Hi, I have m.e/cfs - please don't tell me I don't it's just insulting - and have experimented with all sorts of different ways of treating my hypothyroidism, low cortisol and m.e. At the moment I have found 85mcgs T3 plus one quarter of a grain of NDT (last thing at night helps with sleep) is the best

My dad passed away
Hi everyone - my dad passed away on Tuesday around 4 PM Pakistan time The burial happened at 8:30 PM (as Muslims, we try and bury within a day) It's been a bit hard for me to post earlier since I know there are many patients going through the disease and their caregivers are taking care of them while

Slimming World my last desperate attempt 😔
Well after trying calorie counting with the NHS plan and the LCHF diet and realising that neither of them would suit me long term so they would be just diets and not lifestyle changes and eventually I would have to come off them and get back into that old familiar viscous circle we all know of piling

Infection again
Hi My dad is in late stages of PSP - he acquired an infection again (the last time it was a chest infection, the docs are not sure this time) - I understand it varies from patient to patient but how many infections should a patient fight? He has had 2 anti-biotic courses in the past 5 weeks - 5 days

Roasted food grains
Well I am on LCHF diet for more than 3 yrs and maintaining level between 100 to 110. I read that if food grains like wheat, rice if heated and then used the GI is very much low. I will test it for a week and take my readings. Any body tried it & what was out come.

Has anyone ever tried taking NDT at night, and found that it had a positive impact on your well-being...? I am asking after reading the other night that people suffering from adrenal sufficiency and taking Medrol had better take it at bedtime, so that they wake up with ideal cortisol level (due to Medrol's

~Should our meds be taken at same time each day?~
Have returned (last week) from a mercy dash to Queensland, Australia of 3 busy days and extreme heat. There was a time difference of 3 hours between NZ & Qld, Auz. I did try hard to stick to what I thought would be similar timing to that of my home routine as best as possible under the circumstances
