Hi Carol I am so sorry to hear that and hope that we can give you the support you need. Do you know how to contact the HCCN nursing team?

Carol - Hi I'm Gini
As Susan asked, I'm not sure if our community cancer team ( not the Macmillan nurse team) know you ? but we would like to hear your story and like to try and improve things.
If your not sure you can call the office on 01480 416410 and please leave a message and your details.
We have some great evidenced based activities for body & mind or maybe you just need a chat ? with us or maybe someone at a similar point in their life as you - We can arrange that.
I absolutely and obviously know nothing about your case but I cant help focus straight in on your immediate use of palliative, such a terrifying word... ... now days, despite technically being 'palliative', that translates into living with cancer.....with attitude ...
Look forward to hearing from you
Gini
Hi Carol, I have been living with secondary breast cancer now for the last 4 1/2 years, and I have had a huge support from the HCCN team, please give them a call they can help and support you in many ways. Also take a look at a website I have recently become aware of called Second Hope, it is the only UK charity specifically for people living with advanced breast cancer, you may find some helpful information there.
