I also take a steroid inhaler for asthma( which I know can cause this. and I rinse afterwards ) but

Niggling sore feeling inside anus and extreme sensitivity
I had an internal pile 3 years ago which cleared up after about a month. Since then I seem to have flare ups of soreness where the pile was - but there isn't one there. Saw my GP (astonishingly!) last week who said the area was "inflamed" - told me to stop using proctosedyl and try sudocrem. It's a

Testing positive for covid
It was going to happen I have tested positive for covid. I have to say the response from NHS and government is confusing. After reporting my lateral flow test the NHS told me to isolate but the government guidelines say it’s not a legal requirement and my employer is following the government advice.

It finally got me…
So I’ve caught Covid - from my 21 year old daughter (student nurse). Currently waiting for a call back from the GP about antivirals. It’s 24 hours nearly since I reported a positive test and I haven’t heard anything about antiviral treatment yet. Has anyone had any experience with getting this successfully

Worrying complacency...
I see that former Prime Minister John Major has referred to the avoidable infection of many people with HIV as a result of using infected blood product factor 8 as "incredibly bad luck" and that "no amount of compensation you can give that can actually compensate for what had happened to them."

Hand Foot and Mouth
Hi I was diagnosed with CLL in March this year so still trying to get my head round it all. But have learnt so much from this site. I’m on W&W and have blood test booked for next week (3 months after diagnosis) and consultant appointment the week after. My granddaughter, who I normally look after on

Antiviral treatment
Following my recent post, I had a phone call yesterday morning from a doctor at our local hospital to assess my need for the treatment. Yes, I needed it but unfortunately the tablets were not suitable because of an existing medication so I needed the infusion. Unfortunately, they had no more appointments
