Iboga, ordered 25 grams today and will start "microdosing" soon.

Iboga is legal in Germany.

I already had party drug experience two decades ago! :-) . A phase 2 study is to begin.

I am currently establishing contact.

Excerpt from a letter:

In the meantime, iboga is not only interesting for addiction therapy, but

but also for other healing purposes. The reason for this is the unique

neurophysiological spectrum of effects that iboga displays. Probably the

interesting mechanism of action of ibogaine, at least for orthodox medicine,

is the fact that ibogaine causes an increase in the nerve growth factor

GDNF in the brain.

This is a peptide that is said to have both neuroprotective and neuroregenerative properties.

neuroprotective and neuroregenerative properties. In plain language

this means that it stimulates the growth of new dopamine neurons.

is stimulated. New studies show that ibogaine is also interesting for the treatment of Parkinson's patients.

Hi Farooqji. I am confused. An earlier thread indicated, I thought, that your "miraculous" results came at the beginning of your experiment with iboga when you were taking capsules. You have also said that HCL is the best form of the product, I think. That's the source of my confusion. What form is used in the caps advertised by ibogaworld.com, for example? At that site they list HCL, TA, caps and bark. When you had a very positive reaction initially, were these not the caps you were taking? Could you clarify for me? Thanks. Appreciate it. I am very much a rookie in these matters.

Your confusion is right. To clarify following is the sequence of events

I initially used iboga root powder and within three to four days I felt 100% normal ( PD free). After a week I took two days break at vendor's advice. The improvements vanished after the break and didn't come back even after resumption. Then I discontinued it for a long time. Then I ordered 1 gram ibogaine HCl and started taking it ten miligram twice a day. It definitely worked and I felt 80% normal. I couldn't order more after I ran out of it due to ban on imports in my country

Thanks. Got it. So it remains a bit unclear perhaps whether one is more effective than the other. In any case, I hope you are able to regain access to what sounds like potentially useful stuff...in one form or another.

Hello there. Please keep us posted with your developments with Iboga.

I wish you all the best.

It would be for a parkinsons diagnosis in USA CA where laws are different.

Keep well

it may, better start slow, on my first day I took 3 pills of iboga bark extract and didn't sleep all night:) Better start slow, but I must admit the boost it gave within first week was incredible and I just wanted to take more. Anyway, its not a cure on its own. Life is better with it than without it.

I am on holiday this week and will probably be treated for three weeks in Cuba the week after next. (Ciren - NeuroEPO). I will probably only test IBOGA at the beginning of December.

Yesterday evening I had a telephone conversation with Tobias Erny - here is his lecture at the University of Zurich (Switzerland).

uzh.mediaspace.cast.switch....

He is preparing a phase 2 study.

I will only start taking iboga in mid-January 2023, initially 0.3 grams (5% root, probably increasing towards 1 gram).

After taking it for about 6 weeks, I should take a break of about 4 weeks and start again.

I will report again.

Thanks for keeping us posted. Is it assumed to be a symptomatic treatment or potentially disease modifying ?

Here from excerpt from my homepage - parkinsonclub.de:

Since January 18, 2023, I have been taking Iboga (a root bark with a 5% content) as a microdose. Every morning I take 0.6 grams. In conversation with Tobias Erny, an expert in the field, I learned that he is preparing a phase 2 study on the use of iboga in Parkinson's disease. The idea is that iboga promotes the growth of new dopamine neurons in the brain by increasing the nerve growth factor GDNF.

Status 02/26/2023: So far in the first week I have noticed the following changes: less appetite, increased awareness of my surroundings, and feeling a little light-headed at times. After a week, my body seems to have gotten used to taking it and I no longer feel the lightheadedness. So far, however, there has been no change in my Parkinson's symptoms. Nevertheless, I feel a little more relaxed. I will report further in mid-March, until then I plan to continue taking Iboga.

Fantastic resource! Glad you were able to do all this research. I am just starting a microdose protocol with Iboga. Advised to have two days break between each dose (upto 1 gram powdered root bark). Do you think every day is necessarily better? Thanks!
