FURIOUS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!
I am still waiting to see a Neurologist, a Dermatologist for a Skin Biopsy, Pain Clinic and Human Genetics, I know these will take time as waiting lists are long where I live. However, I found out in June this year that my Hospital Records have been destroyed because I had not been admitted to or attended

I was in the Surgery today having bloods taken for my checkup next Thursday Morning. There was a note on the door explaining patients were going to surgery to make an appointment to get their teeth checked. Hi. I started my adventure a year ago today, 8/31/2017. I guess it's time to say hello. I'll throw down my numbers. Maybe it will make some of you feel better about your numbers. Last summer I started to have some old-man urinary symptoms. I was 51, so they seemed par for the course. I was feeling a

BLeeding gums
Hi people. I found a post about bleeding gums but can't find it now. Could anyone help please. When I cleaned my teeth yesterday there was quite a lot of blood after spitting out toothpaste. I use Corsodil toothpaste and do have gum disease but this is the first time this has happened. All replies

We as caregivers are at increased risk for mental health and physical health problems

Gfr of 10 but feeling well - is this possible ?
Hi everyone. My son is 23 and only 4 months ago we learned he had CKD and his gfr was 20. Last week we were told it is now just 10. Aside from occasional tiredness however he is feeling totally fine. No other symptoms of kidney failure at all. Is this normal ? He wants to delay dialysis as long as possible

Explanation of why levo & NDT don't work?
I'm looking for an article and/or video on this subject to assist a person with this problem. Some people (I am one of them) who have gut disorders, deep nutritional deficiencies, and other conditions, cannot respond well to levo or NDT initially; these patients need work on other problems first. Seroquel has stopped IBS and cramping!
My therapist put me on Seroquel for insomnia, (was only getting three hours of sleep last night..for the past two years). Not only has it made me calmer, and happier, it has completely stopped by stomach cramping and IBS. It has been years since I was able to eat anything heavier than child size portion

Permanent rigid aching, muscles across both shoulders - could this be over medication?
I don’t recognise this symptom and it’s fairly new to me in the last few months. Does anyone else recognise it?

Gum growth after kidney transplant
Hi, I had a kidney transplant over 2 years ago and recently my gums seem seem to be overtaking my teeth and are quite uncomfortable and bleeding. Is this down to taking prednisolone daily as a steroid?

Healing fast
So just an update, I had my circumcision done 3 weeks tomorrow and after 2 weeks had to get my stitches removed because my body was rejecting them. But now it's almost 3 weeks and last night had sex because I couldn't wait any longer and it was great. No pain at all. I can only attribute it to only wearing
