change in IBS symptoms
Hi I am totally confused and a bit bewildered. So I have had IBS with terrible bouts of diarrhoea for over three years. During which time I definitely had trigger foods which made it a lot worse. Going on a gluten free diet seemed to help slightly as did a fructan free diet. Also low fodmap. But didn

DBS number of surgeries vary so much from 1 to 3. Main reason surgeons say safer less complications. Is there any proof?
my DBS surgery was completed in one hospital stay. The majority of others was 2-3 hospital stays. Is there research to support that there are less complications?

dbs and massage chairs
THis might sound trival but I cannot find a good full massage chair which is pacemaker /DBS friendly. They all exclude people with these devices. Same goes for vibration plates. I get it, they both emit electromagnetic fields. So does my microwave and phone. Any suggestions for Massage chairs (Europe

Deep Brain Stimulation
Does anyone have recent personal experience of DBS for tremors? How successful was it as a treatment? Anecdotal information I can probably research for myself. Thank you. I have Cerabellar Ataxia.

Gluten free diet
I notice that a strictly gluten free diet is often recommended on this forum. What is the reason, and does it apply to both hyper and hypothyroidism?

DBS and cognition
Does having a diagnosis of "major neurocognitive disorder"-- a DSM diagnosis, usually disqualify someone for DBS? Is it dependent on other factors?

DBS and Sinemet
I had the DBS surgery last October. After DBS, Sinemet made my PD symptoms worse...especially balance (It's like I am constantly falling forward and my legs are trying to keep up). I told my neurologist about it and she thought is odd that Sinemet would do that. I feel better without the Sinemet.

DBS surgery to help with “ frozen feet “
I was first diagnosed with PD in 2005, over the years my symptoms were for the most part mild and controlled with meds. However several months ago I developed “ frozen feet “ it has altered my quality of life substantially. I have switched exercise workouts to a stationary bicycle, PT therapy 3 times
