Does having a diagnosis of "major neurocognitive disorder"-- a DSM diagnosis, usually disqualify someone for DBS? Is it dependent on other factors?

dbs has been great for me. I have gone from taking 6 carbadopa 25-100 and 6 carbadopa 50-200 to only taking 1/2 twice a day of caradopa 50-200. I am having some balances problem very little pain . I had my DBS put in February 4th 2022

I don’t know. It certainly would add to the risk factors but I’m not A doctor

Yes because dbs can make this condition worse.
