Good morning all those wonderful people who are supporting each other. The medical profession are very supportive but are busy individuals led by at times medicine based on latest research I was diagnosed many many years ago following the birth of my first born. I be struggled with constipation pain and misery! No one as helped.
I have had a hysterectomy in my forties for heavy periods and severe dysmenorrhoea. Later, in my fifties had laparotomy for suspected of ovarian cancer. Now there lies one huge problem!
Years later a caring GP when I complained of abdo pain said let's test you for coeliac. No one had ever suggested this. Bingo yes positive !!! Some improvement in my overall well being. Clever gastr man then decided all my bowel problems not to do with coeliac. I'd nailed that one by strict gluten free diet. My constipation was helped by gastro number one Consultant who prescribed Laxido daily. I was either constipated or had overflow embarrassing distressing and depressing. Now lovely coeliac Consultant retired so put into new clinic. Dynamic lovely man said your problem is to do with pelvic problems. I can't help you. So off to pelvic team. Exercises of pelvic floor as no organs left ! Then I will see her in three months.
Meanwhile I have found de and trying hard with a plant based diet. I'm newly retired as I felt so ill at work but at 71 thought that's alrighty!!
So now trying hard to keep fit and eat plant based diet. Family embracing this too.
So this is only part of my story but it's to say keep going whatever and experiment all the time
If you can go out in green space every day I know that for some people this is impossible and if this is you then try to go on line to a relaxation class. Be blessed may they one day find a cure.
