The nurse from my Pain clinic is suggesting this drug for chronic pain combined with Tramadol . Has anyone taken it for pain. I don't like what I am reading online as I am wondering if there is another agenda here. Because I kept crying, I'm a very weepy person , she kept talking about low mood and suggesting

Getting a fibro diagnosis
HI I posted a while ago about my chronic pain diagnosis, and that I was going to try steroid injections. I've had problems with neck pain since I was a kid. I'm now 28 and still suffering on a daily basis. After MRIs / x-rays /EMG etc I was diagnosed with chronic neuropathic pain and put on pregabalin

Fibromyalgia
Just been prescribed Pregabalin and taken 2x25mg doses and it has given me the worst muscle pain i have ever experienced, taking no more. Have tried so many different Meds thought this one might be the ONE, Worse than the pain I got from Duloxetine, all these drugs meant to treat Fibro, make mine worse

Has anyone experienced a strange whooshing vertigo-type sensation...
... (as if you're standing on a high ledge, or someone gives you a shock) that goes from your temples through to your stomach and out through your fingertips? My flatmate has been experiencing this as well as pins and needles in her left foot. I wondered if it could be a slight carpel-tunnel type thing

Always exhausted
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia ten years ago after two years of constant pain and tiredness, sore throats, hoarse voice etc etc. Until the summer of last year, I survived - but with a much-changed lifestyle - taking the pain killer Meloxicam, Omeprazole to counter its effects, Duloxetine for depression

Tingling/burning skin
I just wondered if anyone else has this symptom, I've had lupus for 14 years but I'm having quite a bad flare just now and this is a symptom I've never had before, it's mostly my feet and hands but travels up my arms and legs & I get it occasionally in my face too. It's a strange tingly sensation that

Imigran - Scared to use
Hi - I wondered if anyone had tried Imigran for migraine. My GP prescribed it for me recently. Usually I get by with a combination of painkillers although the one before last nothing seemed to touch it, which is why she prescribed Imigran. But when I looked at the side-effects it put me off. You might

Hi, I'm new but my RLS isn't.
Hi. Just found this site after what feels is the thousandth time looking up RLS. I keep looking to see if there has been any miraculous cure for it, but to no avail. I've had RLS since approx my mid tens, I'm now 50. It's only been in recent years that I found it actually had a name, and that I wasn't

Do any of you with RLS also suffer from Behçets Syndrome? Have you found anything that helps relieve the symptoms. It's driving me mad!!!
Having tried drugs like gabapentin & duloxetine unsuccessfully im getting desperate. Sometimes I find taking Tramadol helps but I really don't like take them. Last night it was just my right leg & was awful. It's like my leg is screaming out for help. Yes I know that sounds bonkers!

Seeking support for terrible morning anxiety which now appears to last most of the day.
I have recently come off paroxetine after approx 17 years. I had one other go about ten years ago with the same result. Each morning now i wake with a sense of dread which disappears as the day goes on normally. However, I am now at the point where in the evening I am anxious because I know it will all

Does anyone have experience of deep brain stimulation used for SUNCT?
My father has been suffering from Sunct for the past 12 years. This has been mainly controlled by Lamotrigene and Indomethacin (please excuse spellings). He had an ONS fitted 3 years ago which also seems to have helped...............up until 1 month ago, he has been admitted to UCLH (previously he was
