Update on Dan
The surgery went well but during the night Dan had a couple of seizures (apparently it's a risk after a
craniotomy
) but he is on medication and responding well. Me and his Dad went up to visit him and spoke to one of the doctors.

URGENT! Has anyone had Lomustine and Sativex together?
He had a vigil
craniotomy
in May 2023. He then had chemotherapy and radiation therapy together. He was later meant to have six months of chemotherapy using a higher dose of Temozolomide.

struggles on acute ward
He needs two nurses to support him to the toilet (still has bone flap/
craniotomy
) although his mobility is getting better. He has been on this ward for 3 weeks and I feel his progress is being halted. He is dirty and wet through most days. I took home 5 dirty sets of clothes yesterday.

No brain flap post craniotomy and 2nd brain washout surgery
I got an infection after
craniotomy
and had to have an emergency brain washout five weeks later as there was no aftercare due to the lack of NHS resources currently. I now have to decide whether to have a cranioplasty to protect my brain and restore the shape of my head.

Has anyone taken Avastin?
It is at the site of an original tumor which was removed via
craniotomy
in 2018 with follow-up SRS to the tumor bed. Current lesion is causing right foot to "drop" by pressing on the motor ridge in the brain. Very problematic since I cannot walk well and cannot drive.

Brain necrosis cause problems?
Craniotomy
with follow-up SRS to tumor bed. Now 4 years later I am having more problems with a foot where the original brain tumor caused numbness. Rad onc said very rare to have another brain tumor after that much time, but there was a small spot of necrosis on the last MRI.

End stages of PSP
Mom even fell hard enough to have a brain bleed treated by a
craniotomy
. This was followed by multiple in-patient and outpatient rehabilitions that included doctors, neurologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and more.

After surgery..
I had a
craniotomy
in April 2021 and I still have short term memory loss. I am also dealing with the consequences of personality changes that have had an effect on my friends and family. I feel like two different people, who I was before and who I am now.

Tectal Plate lesion
A
craniotomy
was done on 7 Jan 2020 to remove the benign lesion. Alas, surgery traumatised the Optic Nerve so I still have double vision and 6th nerve palsy. I am currently having 9 monthly MRIs to monitor the TP lesion.
