And the beat goes on.........
Tomorrow I will have been stopped smoking for 19 whole weeks. Apart from the blip in April when I smoked 18 cigs over a few days, then picked myself up, ditched the junk Champix and carried on. 19 weeks of stress, misery, tears, and hair pulling later how do I feel. Umm, exactly the same. Could still

A long road to recovery...
So I think I have finally admitted to myself that my depression might not shift if I don't take my meds. So tonight - have started and WILL continue I'm glad I waited really until I was ready but I'm dissapoinbted it took me 6 or maybe longer months! After a few very bad weeks I decided I can't change

Should I start taking the Champix now or wait a little longer?
I have tried numerous times to stop smoking - had the addiction for 43 years!! I 'cheated' the pharmacy into giving me champix by blowing zero on the meter they use. I did this by using an e-cig and NRT for 72 hours prior to my consultation. I wanted to have the tablets in so I could quit in my own time

Hi again, I have been to the doctor this week and described how my anxiety and panic attacks have gotten much worse over the past few months. We discussed CBT and continuing with Propranolol but my GP was also recommending anti-depressants. About 10 years ago when I was very ill with anxiety and

RECENTLY DIAGNOSED WITH EMPHYSEMA
I'm a 33 year old female and after having breathing difficulties was sent for a chest xray. My doctor diagnosed me just yesterday with emphysema. I don't know anything about this condition and my doctor has said it is rare in someone my age (although I am a smoker who has smoked for just 6 years currently

Hello all stumbled across you guys while searching for answers on not sleeping whilst on Champix and have popped by a couple of times to read others stories. Not wanting to be deemed some kind of voyeur, thought i would share my 'story' Been smoking properly for about 31 years - was a p/t smoker

Quitting smoking with the help of champix
I am on day 14 of champix, still in shock that I haven't smoked. I have smoked 30/40 cigarettes every day for the past 37 years. I just desperately want to stay stopped. I would say I am a happy smoker!, I loved it, didn't really want to quit but thought I'd give it a go. Any tips on suceeding would

Could Crampex help with myofascial pain?
Apologies if this is a really silly question! I happened to see these tablets in Boots. They are actually for people whose calves cramp during the night, and contain magnesium, vitamin D3, and nicotinic acid. Nicotinic acid was in chillblain tablets that Boots used to sell years ago. Magnesium, of

My life without fags!
