Having a rough time
Hi all. My name is Jonathan and I have bipolar disorder. I struggle greatly with anxiety and depression and this has been going on for over a year. My symptoms get worse in the evening when I feel I have no one to talk to. I had a counseling appointment today but that didn’t help much. I am going to

Fibromyalgia??
So my aunt has been doing research on anxiety in an attempt to help me live a normal life whilst not being able to afford counseling and such because I have no insurance. Recently her research has brought her to fibromyalgia. I'm familiar with the physical aspects of this illness as my mother and grandmother

Cheaper DIO2 test?
So bearing in mind the warnings in the below thread, I've found a clinic who seem to offer DIO2 testing without
counselling
, for £60: https://www.countryhealth.co.uk/product/di02-genetic-snp-test/ Too good to be true? Has anyone tried it?

The title says it all. :-( On Wednesday September 12, I sent a message to my boss almost two hours before my shift telling her that I wasn't feeling well and that I needed some rest. She told me on that Tuesday that I could use my vacation days to call in sick, since I have been calling in sick a lot

Gfr of 10 but feeling well - is this possible ?
The doctors he has seen have all been quite alarmist and negative, but haven’t at any time offered him
counselling
or support for his age group which I think is appalling. Even when we google stage 5 CKD all we find is info about or stories involving elderly patients.

I feel like I'm in a bad place right now.
As I said before I have anxiety and I think that it was/is bad. It made me feel very depressed nearly everyday. But recently for a while I had some counseling sessions which I found helpful but they discharged me because they thought I was doing well because I was finally talking to people a bit and

Well my insurance won't cover online counseling. Says they are looking into it more and may be available next year. I hope so because traditional counseling is like torture for me, anxiety on super drive and any moment I'm thinking an attack will happen. Also it's a lot cheaper virtually. It's $200 per

I'm looking for support dealing with mainly my panic attacks. I'm taking medication and have done some counseling. I would also like to be able to support others with their issues.

Back From the Past
I've suffered with various levels of depression and anxiety most of my life. My first known anxiety attack was in the 4th grade; I didn't know what was happening but I was smart enough to keep it to myself. In my late 30's many pressure points came together and I suffered a complete emotional collapse

Immobilized by Worry
I have dealt with anxiety and depression since I was a child. I have had counseling, done a lot of work on meditation, mindfulness, ready many books over the years (REBT, CBT, ACT, Morita Therapy, meditation, on and on...). I have improved over the last 30 years, but when I get to a point where I feel

Six month on from miscarriage
I’ve been to
counselling
. I’m on anti depressants. I try to occupy my mind with other stuff, but every so often I break down. Has anyone got any coping techniques. When something triggers me, it’s tears, sobbing, just heartbreaking feelings.

anxiety & panic over seeing my doctor, advice to overcome?
P.S she also suggested I try talking therapy, this time being condition based
counselling
, how to deal with these conditions etc, whereas before it's been CBT, or I don't know the best way to say but
counselling
for abuse victims.

ADHD & Sensory Issues HELP
My 8 year old daughter has ADHD, ODD & SPD. How do I get her to wear different shoes & clothes? She refuses to wear any other shoes than the ones we got her almost 1 1/2 years ago. They are so small her toes are almost popping out of them. She also refuses to wear socks and that started when she was

Parents who disagree with treatment
My step son is 6 years old and has not been formally diagnosed with ADHD yet. The school and pediatrician won't test him because of his age. My 11 year old son has ADHD and it runs in the family. I'm not an expert but I know ADHD symptoms all too well. Our 6 year old not only has issues with impulse
