I can't remember the last time I was active in this group or even what day I used to weigh in. I would like to start weighing in again and maintaining/lose another 5kg. I have definitely yoyoed over the years my bmi is currently 22 I weigh 62kg I would like to tone up. I have loose skin, i've lost nearly 6 stone from my heaviest weight. I would like to lose more weight but i'm trying to stop myself from going further, as i'm now a size 6-8 my largest was a size 22. I had an eating disorder when I was young. i've been both underweight, lowest weight at this height 5st4 and obese over 15st. I'm trying to accept and like myself and my body. I don't want to yoyo again. i've been in the healthy weight range since July 2017. I've hovered between 60 and 63kg since April 18. Is there a weight leeway for maintenance? I'm trying to convince myself to maintain because I think I would keep going and going till there's nothing left. I'm not happy with myself and i try to convince myself my weight is the issue, i'm going to counselling to try and help. I would love to be at peace with myself in this skin. Xx

Hello Hidden and welcome back
It's been a year, and you used to weigh in on a Sunday, so I hope you'll join us there tomorrow.
It sounds like you've done really well on your own. I suggest you introduce yourself to the Maintainers club healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh... I see it's the August club, so a new one may be launched shortly, and I'm sure you'll find a lot of support there. Just ask any questions.
To help you find your way around the forum, follow this link to the Newbie Club which explains all that's on offer and how to find it healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...

Hello Hidden and it’s good to hear from you. Well done on taking, and keeping, control of your eating 👏👏👏
I agree with BridgeGirl about joining the Maintainers Group, there’ll be a new post tomorrow but it’s worth reading the current post as suggested. I am currently trying to maintain and it is a tricky balancing act, but as you will see, we are each dealing with our own, unique eating history.
Best Wishes
Indigo
Well done Hidden & getting to maintaining level. Definately sounds like you are there with a big weight range on your journey - wow! It’s amazing you’ve got to where you are! It’s good to come on here & say how you feel. As IndigoBlue61 & @Bridgegirl Administrators recommend come on here on groups to help you keep on the right path. Well done & good to hear from you 👏🏻👏🏻
I honestly think you are fine as you are now! Why not accept your brilliant weight loss and maintain at your current weight? Your BMI is perfect.
Perhaps your weight is not really the issue?
Good luck with the counselling. I have had counselling in the past and it really helped.
As someone currently battling atypical anorexia I would advise you not to undertake further weight loss unless it is recommended by your doctor. As you say, once you start losing your ED brain may activate and continue to insist that you need to lose another few kilos until there is nothing left. If your doctor suggests losing weight you should only do so if monitored by both a clinical psychologist and a registered dietitian.
Please consider instead joining the maintainers club and definitely follow up on that counseling.
Thank you very much for your replies ladies. Thanks for the advice. I just noticed your responses today, so I will weigh in next Sunday. I am definitely benefiting from the counselling, but it’s going to be a long road with lots of issues to work through. But there has been a lot of changes in my life the past year, and it’s exciting with new beginnings and hopefully happier times ahead!
