Supportive Partner During IVF
Hi all, My wife and I are starting our IVF journey soon and I want to know how I can be as supportive as possible. The last few months have been a bit of a rollercoaster for us both and I’m trying to be the best form of support I can be for her. This is taking its toll on both of us mentally as we’

Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy D&C polypectomy - Help!
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had the above procedures and whether this helped them get pregnant either naturally or through IVF? My gynaecologist has recommended the above but I’m worried it could make getting pregnant more difficult. Any success stories?? Thank you! x x

*Sensitive* - hope for multiple ectopics
I hope this isn’t upsetting for anyone, but I wanted to post as I found success stories so so helpful when I was going through it. My daughter was born on 6th of March. She’s now 10 weeks and absolutely perfect. Definitely worth all the trauma to get here. I had 2 ectopic pregnancies and had to have

embryo perished in lab
Has anyone had embryos perish in the lab due to being stuck in the pipette? Devastated. Nice quality embryo perfect for freezing anc the clinic phoned to say it got stuck in the pipette and perished. They said just an inherent risk of ivf.

8 embryos after almost losing hope
I’ve been debating whether to post but wanted to provide hope to those who have struggled to produce viable embryos. We’ve attempted IVF twice and weren’t able to reach blast, even resulting in tri-zygote. The third time, we had 15 mature eggs and 13 fertilised. All reached blast and we were able to

Fertility Help?
Hello, I'm pretty scared about waiting until id like a baby incase I leave it too late. I know it sounds silly but I'm 25 and me and my partner are not ready for a baby right now, but since being told I'm Stage 4 I feel like I'm scared of waiting too long to start trying. IVF is recommended but should

1st FET at 41
hi guys, I’m about to have a FET on the 30th May and we need to decide whether to have 1 or 2 embryos transferred? I’ve had a successful IVF round with my daughter (now nearly 6yrs), but I’m now 41. I have 5 good quality eggs frozen from our IVF Round in Jan this year (that round was a BFN). I really

Potential tubal issues - is laparoscopy worth it?
Hello, I wondered if anyonen had a similar experience or some advice. My husband and I have been trying for a baby and my chlamydia antibody test came back abnormal, suggesting previous infection (but no longer active). failed cycles after success
Just wondering if many people have experienced a successful ivf cycle and then repeated failures after for a sibling? I was very lucky that my first frozen cycle with two frozen embryos resulted in my daughter who’s now 2.5. We have had 2 failed single frozen transfers since then. Embryos are from

IVF timing question
I was wondering whether anyone could give me some info on when they suppress your cycle to prepare for ivf. My dr said it’s a preparation cycle. Do they begin this typically on a certain cycle day? Or do they just do it for a certain length of time? Why do they suppress a woman’s menstrual cycle in

CoQ10 amount confusion?
Hi all, After a year of consultations, our NHS gynaecologist has essentially said nothing more they can do for me /us unless we pay for IVF given I’m now 41, which we can’t afford atm. But he did say we could start taking 300mg of CoQ10 twice a day, each. I could only find 200mg at Holland & Barrett

prednisone or not?
We’ve had a spontaneous pregnancy and test is very positive. During our last ivf round we had the tests for NK cells and were advised to go on to prednisone after transfer etc. So now we’re in 2 minds, we’ve somehow fallen pregnant on our own, no meds so far (started taking folic acid today) and just
