Hello, I'm pretty scared about waiting until id like a baby incase I leave it too late. I know it sounds silly but I'm 25 and me and my partner are not ready for a baby right now, but since being told I'm Stage 4 I feel like I'm scared of waiting too long to start trying.
IVF is recommended but should I be doing anything to improve my chances? I have no idea what I'm doing. Any one have any good stories? Or alternatively are you happy to share your experience if you faced any difficulties?
Im scared and have no one to really talk to.

hi adnalim - sorry you’re having to deal with this awful disease. Me and my husband always wanted children and waited until we were ‘ready’ - and now we cannot fall pregnant even with ivf. I’m not saying this is the case for everyone, but if you really want children think about your plan now as I really do regret waiting.x
I would start now of you can, get a doc to check your tubes etc. I had stage 4 endo but my tubes were fine but I also had adenomysiois so I couldn't carry the embryo. I'm not sure that you would need IVF if your tubes and womb are okay, try to do it naturally if you can as the hormones used in IVF can make endo worse, so do check if you really need IVF. The imporant thing is you are young so your eggs should be great. You might not need it. Maybe go and see a specialist they will know all about what is best for you.
I left it late and my eggs were not good quality but and the adenomysiosis was abig problem but lcukily I have 10 great nieces and nephews. xxx
Have you already had a removal surgery of the endo? They said to me that your best chances of falling pregnant are straight after the removal, as the endo can come back.
I also asked them what the chances are of having problems falling pregnant with endo, as I am hoping to try soon and have just had most of it removed. The surgeon said that there isn't much research based on people having endo and their fertility, but that there is research that shows that a lot of people having fertility problems do have endo. That doesn't mean that if you have endo you will have problems..
My experience on this personally is that I was diagnosed with Endometriosis too late, age 35, and as a result my fertility is not good. If I had known I had Endometriosis in my teens/20's I would have had a baby asap because now there are so many complications for me at this age.
This is just a piece of my personal history. At the end of the day, you have to do what is best for you. Take care of yourself.
I’m so sorry you suffer with endo and have the difficult decision to make re waiting to start a family or trying before you feel ready.
As others have shared, I wish I’d started trying earlier rather than later as it’s not an easy journey with endo and as you get older.
I suggest you talk to your doctor who can perhaps run some tests so you can make a more informed choice. Hopefully you’re also seeing a gynaecologist who can give advice too, alongside your treatment plan for endo 💗🤞
Hi Adnalim, I started to TTC at 28, which now I think is late. My mom has fallen pregnant with me naturally at 21 and has not been able to get pregnant with my brother for 18 years after that She needed IVF, I need IVF now. We both are diagnosed with endo by laparoscopy. As earlier you start, the chances for a baby are higher. I would not wait.
