is Karyotype important before IVF
Hi ladies, I contacted another clinic for emb pooling with two cycles and they said I need to have karyotype result before my PGS. But we want to go for fresh embryo PGS to avoid any damages due thawing etc. Are there any benefits doing karyotype before pgs? Thanks, Namrata

Experience of hypnotherapy
hello, I just wondered if anyone had used hypnotherapy whilst going through IVF and did you find it helpful? A friend of mine has suggested it but I'm not sure what to expect and whether it's worth the extra money 😬. I'm leaning towards giving it a go as it's not going to hurt but I'd be really

gestational age…
hello all, just wondering if anyone can clear this up for me… We had IVF and are now fortunate enough to be exactly 16 weeks pregnant. We have had our routine scans including dating and the due date we have been given is 3 days earlier than what we calculated. Which is fine I understand that but…

Wanted - mothers who have done it on their own and used donor sperm
Hi lovely ladies, I am 38, single and am looking into IVF with donor sperm. I have so many questions about what life will be like, and am fraught with worries too, such as family presence and male role models. If you have been through this journey yourself and are willing to connect then I would

Abnormal cells on cervical smear whilst on Buserelin.
Hi All Im not really sure where to begin on here, I am feeling so deflated. I am currently waiting to restart drugs for my FET (date not confirmed) after my last implant date was cancelled 3 days before. I am doing IVF PGD due to a genetic condition my husband has. I had my usual cervical screening

To freeze or not to freeze
I have low AMH 4.1pmol and I'm 34 in 1 week! My 4 year relationship has just broken down as per all the stress and strain of trying for a baby for 3 years and failed IVF. I'm considering freezing my eggs and preserve my chances of being a mum but do I need to panic and start doing that yet? I was

42years old, Never tried before then when did had a miscarriage, concieved naturally. Should I get a hysteroscopy?
A Dr abroad is recommending a hysteroscopy with treatment done at the same time for anything they find, saying that the internal scans I had done in my UK clinic can sometimes not show enough. But my UK Dr has said it's not needed. I can go straight into my first round of IVF. Hence a little confused

Advanced age: average follicle size before trigger.
Hi , I have found youtube from CHR by Dr. Gleicher video claiming "Double the IVF Pregnancy Rates: Early Egg Retrieval for Women 43+" and "The HIER Egg Retrieval Method Helped a 48-Year-Old Patient Get Pregnant at CHR" My trigger shot was mostly above 19-21 mm but the above youtube video says it should

Donor egg advice/success
Hello lovely ladies, I was just looking for some of your wise thoughts and advice pretty please. We have just had our final OE failed transfer despite throwing everything at it. It’s been a long road and I’ve done every test and taken every med out there so it’s now time to move on, as egg quality

IVF Pregnancy anxiety
I’m almost 17 weeks pregnant with my first real IVF success after 8 rounds of IVF and I just can’t shake the anxiety about having a miscarriage. Every time I go to the toilet I have this fear that I will see blood. I’ve just spoken to a friend to tell her our news and she told me (when I asked her)

Scared and feel defeated already re IVF
Hi all, I know this sounds bad but I’m currently going through a IVF and I’m just so worried it’s not going to work for me. I am trying to remain positive but my mind is in a dark place and it’s taken over. I don’t know what I’m going to do if it fails or I have a miscarriage I just feel so drained.

After how many years does this change you permanently?
We started trying in Feb 2020. In Sept 2020 I got a bit concerned and had a set of basic tests done on NHS. In March 2021 had a hycosy privately and got pregnant following month but miscarried. Everyone said don’t worry, you’ll fall again soon. In Sept 2021 got pregnant and miscarried again.
