Has anyone had embryos perish in the lab due to being stuck in the pipette? Devastated. Nice quality embryo perfect for freezing anc the clinic phoned to say it got stuck in the pipette and perished. They said just an inherent risk of ivf.

I am so sorry; I have never heard of this. I would push your clinic and ask the rates of that happening and also ask for another embryologist next time x
I’m so so sorry 😖 I’ve heard that inevitably lab errors do happen in IVF like in any other science, but never heard of anyone going through something like this in this way. How devastating. 💔 would definitely push for some more info.
