Natural or conventional IVF
Hi All, Hope everyone is well. There is a clinic near to us that offers natural IVF which works with your own cycle and uses very minimal stimulation medication to none. I'm over 45 and I know my options are limited, but really want the option to conceive using my own eggs and this natural IVF option

Any IVF success stories with own eggs at 45years?
Hi all, I am thinking of doing my last ever cycle, I'm 45 years and low AMH. I already have a son through IVF (3yrs) but seeing as this may be my last chance I was wondering if anyone has had any success? I have been told that it has a chance of 2% success. Am I crazy to try again? I really dont have

Oestrogen tablets/medicated FET for APS?
Hi there, I’m due to see my fertility consultant about a new IVF cycle. I had done medicated FETs before (all failed) but now that I’ve been diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Syndrome, I’ve read that I should stay away from oestrogen tablets as they double the risk of blood clots. Has anyone with APS

I think it’s all over
2nd FET for a sibling tested this morning dead early at 4.45! As I was awake , a day early due to having a very busy day tomorrow. Tested negative! But wasn’t the best wee in the world. I guess will just have to test again. had most of the same symptoms as my positive which ended in a MC. I am so

Supplements for men for IVF
Hello! I will be started IVF in a few months (noting that it will take about three months for supplements to have an effect). My husband has normal sperm but is slightly low on the morphology side (4% now and was slightly less in a previous test) and we are doing stardard IVF, not ICSI. The Dr recommended

Wanted: Egg freezing stories
Hi, I have done a number of rounds of egg freezing but have a big drop off between eggs retrieved and mature eggs. My new clinic also freeze immature eggs to carry out IVM on them at the time I come to use them. I now have 28/ 29 mature eggs stored (one was made mature before freezing but not sure it

Stressing about Progesterone level
I’m currently on my 8th Cycle (5th transfer which is a FET) - my NHS clinic doesn’t test progesterone but I do test privately. My Medichecks has now come back as 493 nmol. Does this number seem high the day before transfer? They’ve said there isn’t a figure too high, but I’ve had 1 chemical and 3 failed

Delay cycle to allow extra month of supplements at 43?
I am shortly going to be starting a fresh cycle after my last FET ended in an early miscarriage. I started taking egg quality supplements about a month ago, and had been expecting a long protocol, with egg collection in about 7 weeks, which would mean I’d had almost three months of supplements. I’ve

Ovestin and ivf?
Ok, so I had an ectopic from ivf which resulted in removal of part of one of my ovaries. I have been prescribed with Ovestin (estrogen cream) as a result as I am very dry and itchy down below. I know I need to stop this before my next transfer but want to take it until the latest possible date before

embryo transfer 2nd time didn’t work - feeling sad 😢
Hi everyone, so I found out after the 2 week wait that it didn’t work. This is the second time with IVF. 1st cycle was nearly 2yrs ago under NHS which was awful, no care & second time around with a private clinic in South London (very friendly clinic & good pricing for IVF) but after 2 egg collections

IVF clinics abroad - how to choose?
I'm based in the UK, but considering doing IVF treatment abroad. I'm just wondering how to go about finding reliable info about clinics abroad. In the UK we have the HFEA as a guide - what would be the equivalent of that for clinics abroad? Can anybody help?

help!
so I had an appointment with my endo specialist last week. Me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for 12 months with no success. She said I need to have a laparoscopy for the endo and adhesions but the wait for that is 12-18 months and they are also referring me to a fertility clinic too. Can

first ivf failure - embryo didn't implant - no fertility issues. help :(
Hello Our cycle seemed to be 'perfect' 3 blastos with good grades so transferred 1 on day 5 Took vitamins for 6 months prior, non smokers, no alcohol for 6 months, healthy diet Tested negative every day since day 5 so appears that the little guy didn't even implant at all. We are in a same sex couple

Starting IVF cycle/anxious and scared/any advice?
Hi all, we are starting our IVF treatment this cycle, I'm on wait for day 21 to start my meds. I was reasonably calm and okay-ish until today when the nurse called to confirm my medication start date, and now all of a sudden it's become really really real and I'm panicking. I'm incredibly anxious
