IST & POTS
Hi y'all! Hope everyone is staying cool. I saw another ep specialist 2 days ago after still having svt while on 100x2 flecainide. He says I have IST and POTS, since there weren't able to bring svt on during my ablation and also from reviewing my records. I'm now on Corlanor and Midodrine. Please any

Dual organ transplant better than one?
we've heard that, since he is diabetic, he might get a kidney transplant sooner if he gets on the list for both a pancreas and a kidney transplant. Is that true? Has anyone experienced that?

Has anyone tried this? For Parkinson patients it is prescribed to make the levodopa effects last longer. On those really bad days we all have it seems as if I am dosing myself every 4-6 hours. I only take 1/2 of a 25/50 pill at a time but it would be great if I would be able to stretch that out to

Curious as to what medications y'all use
I was recently put on corlanor ( i know its ivabradine), i have tried beta blockers in the past and they gave me terrible side effects. Unfortunately even with the well received feedback on corlanor, my side effects were too much for me to handle no matter the relief it gave my heart. It made me feel

Considering a transplant? Better call Mariel
I once saw a survey which claimed that people spent more time selecting a telephone than they did a transplant hospital. A small word of advice, it can be a matter of life and death should you be listed in the wrong center. If you are considering listing you should check out Mariel Carr as she is an

Date decided
My husband, 63 yrs, diagnosed two and a half years ago has chosen medically assisted death and will exercise this right soon. The only good that will come out of this tragedy are those in need of organ transplants. He has decided to be a donor and brain tissue will be sent to CurePSP at the Mayo

Underlying Autoimmune Condition? Immunosuppressed, on Immunosuppressants / Chemotherapy? Avoid Contact With Recipients of Nasal Flu Vaccine.
Hi All Not quite on topic but perhaps relevant to those who may have additional autoimmune conditions or other health issues, so here goes... The nasal flu vaccine contains live forms of flu virus which have been weakened (attenuated) and whilst not dangerous to those in good health, the vaccine may

Best post-transplant life experience?
So as we often say, we get our organ transplant 'not just to survive, but to thrive' and enjoy life to the fullest. Having been to the edge with our health issues, recipients tend to appreciate each day of life (despite those daily challenges) so much more than the average person. So looking back (

Help! I'm so dizzy!
I have had worsening dizziness since my PD diagnosis last December. Lately I've been very nauseous, too. All the time.
