Constant bleeding being ignored by docs
I have always had issues with my periods, heavy bleeding and bleeding between periods which has always been shrugged off by numerous doctors as "just one of those things that happen to some people" however over the last 6 months I have had some type of bleeding almost daily, it ranges from spotting to

Coming off the pill
I am looking at coming off the pill, I have been on different pills for 10 years now and I’m looking to come off. I’m not doing it to become pregnant but more so because I don’t want the side effects of the hormones anymore. I was told I probably have endometriosis about 18 months ago but they didn’t

Coming off depo awaiting second lap, TTC.
Hello fello endo people! I am awaiting a second lap, due to covid it won't be for another 4-5 months, and even that is optimistic. I was on the depo injection, which was due around 10th Jan and I didn't have the injection. So I have no contraception at the moment, my consultant said to try to get pregnant

Myomectomy for large fibroid
I'm 25 (no children) and have a melon-sized fibroid (10cmx8cm) behind my uterus. I have been referred for surgery and would love to connect with other women who have been through a similar journey. As you can see, I get extremely bloated and uncomfortable after eating but other than that I don't get

Bleeding on the POP pill
I took the cerazette desogestrel pill for around a year and never had a bleed or a period. I took a break from it for around 3 weeks and decided to go back on it. I’ve now been back on the pill just over two months and I’m having vaginal bleeding but I don’t know if it’s a period? Why am I now bleeding

Missed yesterday’s pill
So I take my contraception pill Every day the one without a break, I take it usually around 1pm everyday (I can miss it up to 22 hours), so I forgot to take it yesterday, I had sex this morning and then took yesterday’s pill after, is this going to be any concern?

Non-Stop Bleeding?
I have posted before and trolled through many posts but can't seem to find anyone in the same position as me. I have suffered from periods that won't stop on their own and only contraceptives will stop them. I am now hoping to conceive so have come off the pill and went back to non stop bleeding. 2 months

RLS and progesterone birth control... trigger?
I was doing really well on 10/325 hydrocodone every night plus 1/2 pill of my .25 mg Requip to keep the RLS at bay. But lately, I have had a series of really bad nights (and then DAYS) when I can’t seem to get relief from my regular meds. The only thing I can think of that is different is that I got

I'm feeling so overwhelmed, I don't know what to do now.
Hi, I hope you don't mid me posting this. I'm 23 and have been having some trouble now for over a year and a half and I feel no closer to managing pain or knowing what is wrong. I have been on the pill since I was 13 for horrendous periods that were causing me to miss school. Since then I have been on

Finished combined pill pack early - is this risky?
Hi, I’ve been super busy at work and must have missed the occasional pill from my 21 day pill packet last month (never missed more than 2 pill and I think only happened twice), but 4 days before I was due to finish the pack I started bleeding so I decided to just finished my pack then and allow my 7

New here: Help with interpreting results pls
Hi everyone, I'm new here and I am wondering if anyone could help me interpret my latest results. I had a test done with Thriva earlier this week and GP is unwilling to help me. I saw a private endocrinologist who dismissed my symptoms in October and November, saying that I'm not ill enough to be treated

Thyroid change since stopping contraceptive pill
Hi everyone. Something interesting has happened to me. Brief background. 7 years ago I started losing a bit of weight and felt hot all the time then developed a swelling in my neck that made swallowing uncomfortable. GP took bloods and my T4 was at the top of the normal range and TSH was less that

Has anybody found their endo symptoms eased after coming off contraception?
Hi, I’m new to the forum. I spoke to my doctor today and have decided to come off my contraceptive pills as none of them have helped my period / endo pain. Has anybody come off their pill and found that their endo symptoms eased slightly? I’m a bit worried in case it doesn’t help, but I would rather

Literally loosing my mind, need to connect with others to feel slightly normal..
Hi, new here! Found this forum and I have been reading a lot of posts which I can relate to, finally. Here’s a little story of how I came about with discovering I had endo. I’ve never had a regular period, like never. I thought it was normal so didn’t pay much attention to it, plus loved the fact I

Suddenly realised I’m losing my hair - devastated
Got diagnosed with Hashis in June 2020. Thought I’d gotten away without hair loss, but I didn’t realise that my parting getting bigger and bigger and the back of my head hair getting thinner and thinner was hair loss. More fool me. I put a mirror up to the back of my head today and just crumpled. I never
