Hi, I’m new to the forum. I spoke to my doctor today and have decided to come off my contraceptive pills as none of them have helped my period / endo pain.
Has anybody come off their pill and found that their endo symptoms eased slightly? I’m a bit worried in case it doesn’t help, but I would rather try than be stuck with my mood swings from all the hormones I’m on!

I’m 50 soon but in my twenties and thirties I was on the contraceptive pill, which masked a lot of my symptoms, (but not all) then, when I came off it, due to ocular migraines and stroke risk (family history) my endo came back with a vengeance and was worse then ever. It just lays dormant I believe when masked by the pill. Hope this helps. Nina
Hi I hated being on the pill, I bleed every day whilst on the progesterone only pill, I was in pain and miserable. When I came off the pill I was so much happier! I hope you find what works for you ☺️
